how about this... why don't we have someone claim who knows a vanilla townie, that way the town won't be killing themselves by policy lynching a PR, or outing a PR. while it doesn't actually catch a scum, it doesn't really hurt the town either. it would seem to be a mutual agreement for everyone, since no one actually knows which side they are on, and no one is really hurt by it.

one more thing, so we don't get a bunch of different claims, outing everyone, i will claim the Vanilla townie if we decide to go with that route. It seems like a decent idea to me, until we can get some night actions and let everyone get a better idea of what they are.

Just out of curiosity... wouldn't the people with scum PM's know who the other scum are, or the other people with scum PM's, since they have to decide on one kill at night im assuming, rather than having 3 or 4 different kills.

I still don't see how this helps, since people probably won't play the role they know, since they may be going against their win condition if they do. for instance: if im scum, but i know a townie, if i play like a townie and try to lynch scum, im actually going against my win condition. so i still think we are back where we started... we really need to find a way to get things moving...

Im assuming thats not true. someone has to make the night actions for them. im guessing it will be somehting like this:
Player A knows Player B, Player B knows Player C, Player C knows someone...
Player B gets lynched...
Player A knows player C.
If not then that leaves one person not getting to make someone elses night actions, and leaves another not using the night actions their character has.

If i get lynched... Lawrencelot knows my role, and i know Spambots role. so im assuming once i die, Lawrencelot would then take over on Spanbots role. since Lawrecelot wouldn't have anyones role, and no one would have spambots role. make more sense?

Okay, so maybe Vanilla Scum have no say in night actions? Maybe they are just bodies for the scum? Except, that wouldn't make sense in the scenario that there was only vanilla scum left, because how would they kill? Ah..so confusing.

Thats what i was thinking, but then they have no way to kill so it wouldn't make sense. also, what happens if we lynch all the people knowing who scum are? then no one makes the night choices for the scum, and they can't kill?
