Like you said, this isn't the only experience recently where it's been difficult for me. I legit don't know why. It could be real life stuff; it could be playerlist related; it could be me losing touch with the game of mafia (a lot of my time is spent these days on not-mafia stuff so the me that fronts is often the me who doesn't play mafia as much anymore); it could be the type of game being a theme game that's basically an open game (and thus not having theme mechanics/roles to spice things up); it could be the way the rvs goes; it could be multiple of the above, or it could be none of them. I genuinely don't know.

The only problem I see with this is that if you have a repeatable action then scum can know to kill you. When I played this setup as scum, I did feel like it would've been harder if town massclaimed their actions, but there were no repeatable actions in that setup.

You saw the BS around what happened last time, you also saw the effectiveness I had at being the lightning rod.

Scum now has to account for me in their rotation attempts. know I'm out to actively screw with their potential, just like last time.

Role don't evolve here either, so I can't be caught out by a shitty "Oh I didn't have that role!" lim which frankly almost gave the game up.

I like this post from flea, and I think it's a mechanically sound strategy for everyone.

If we all burn our pro-scum roles the day we get them, it will greatly limit scum's power.

It would also force scum to play in a way that may be suboptimal to avoid outing themselves.
