Yeah, there's been alot of hardcore scum hunting 17 posts in.OhGodMyLife wrote: I don't think speculating about what kind of role Nightson was will be in any way helpful. Its only taking away from the focus of actually scumhunting today.
Vote: Gremwell
Mariyta's inquiry about the role sounds honest, and SL tried to helpfully answer it while at the same time putting the matter to bed in post 8. Gremwell brings it back up again in 10, with a comment that is both untestable and highly distracting. So he gets my vote.in the name of Harman-

any chance you'll be willing to share that information with the group?sekinj wrote:Since I'm at L-2, I'll go ahead and claim.
I am a chancellor, the baron's right hand man. I have no night powers, but I DO have some unique information that might help us find the scum.

Good posting, if OMGML is lynched then we'd know as much about him as we do about the N0 kill, which is not much. and all we'd know about sekinj is if she was lying or not which would no doubt lead to an OMGML lynch if she wasn't lying, and if both of you are trying to tell the truth to the best of your ability, then that leaves us with two dead townies.in the name of Harman-

Ok I'd just like to clarify this,
sekinj- you claim barons chancellor, a role with no power/night action, but instead has a list of clues that you don't know if their true
ohgodmylife- you claim to not have a power/night action, and refuse to give any other information
I'm not digging for any new information I'd just like to make sure we're all on the exact same pagein the name of Harman-

I voted OGML because we were at deadline and approaching a NL, which stated in the rules would result in bad things for the town. What else could I do in that position? As for useful posts I am sorry about that, and you can expect that to change.
All in all it doesn't seem enough to warrant a vote.in the name of Harman-

It would make little difference if I said that in my post or after it, people had already mentioned before my vote that a no lynch would be extra bad for the town so it would still be a null tell.Rage wrote:As for your reasoning behind your hammering vote of OhGodMyLife, you probably should have mentioned that when you were actually doing the vote. Now that other players have said that they were afraid of the deadline, and I'll admit that I didn't like the consequence, scum could easily slide on "I was afraid of the deadline".
What about those who didn't vote? Did you not vote because you were in favor of a no lynch, or you didn't think there was enough reason to vote for anyone.
I felt that regardless of how I felt of OGML that a mislynch> a No lynch, that said, from what I was able to reread at the time his refusal to claim to save his skin was reading scummy to me and he would have most likely been my first choice anyhow.in the name of Harman-

@Rage, I don't see why you're so fixated on me today, I'm not trying to say that what I did was the town's saving grace, just that it is a null tell.
A townie who shows up close to the deadline and casts the only choice to avoid the no lynch, Or a scum who did the same thing to appear as town.
Me personally, if I were scum I would like to see what the consequences were so I knew if it was worth forcing a no lynch later on.in the name of Harman-

Ok, looking back now I really don't think that a post restriction is the case, OGML asked for clarification of the info almost right after it was posted, it would seem he was considering ccing but wanted to be sure first. His post was missed at first but then addressed a few pages later followed by his claim.
Now a question for sekinj: you said in an earlier post that you received an anonymous letter N0, is this correct? And if that is in fact the case, did you receive another letter tonight?
If so receiving a letter may be your night action/choice/whatever and OGML was just so sure of his CC that in his eyes you had to be scum.
One thing I noticed on a reread was that looking back, thadmiral was talking the most sense of anyone here.in the name of Harman-

It's kind of hard to say right now, hence me not voting, but I would have to say Mariyta tops my list right now for her play D1, nothing really so far D2. But I also feel she's putting herself out there a lot and that makes me look at Singing Librarian who seems entirely off the radar, I am interested to see what comes of the thinktank line of questioning but right now I don't see enough.
I'm not sure if this was ever mentioned before, and I didn't see anything about it on the front page.
How many scum are we looking at? 2 or 3? if it is 3 then we are at LyLo effectively, the reason I bring this up is because with so many power roles it seems odd that we have no real direction after 2 nights, my guess is that most of our roles are nerfed a bit

It's not sarcasm and not real, don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't believe your claim, I was just looking at this with a healthy dose of skepticism. It would be easy to claim some sort of power like that, that can't be proven.
What I'm most curious about is why you must declare it in thread rather then as a night choice, I don't expect an answer, and am not looking for a claim, just something that was bugging me.in the name of Harman-

I fail to see what makes your actions town and my actions an attempt to seem town. There is nothing making me any more scummy than you. You've been all over the place, and dropping votes with little or no case on the person. IIRC quite a few people were ready to let you swing D1, the only thing that stopped them was the few pushing the binary lynch on OGML.in the name of Harman-

so what does this mean? we'll all take a break as the deadline nears and put one player on the spot?sekinj wrote:@grem: I'd like to see you post a case on someone anyway
I haven't posted a case on anyone because I haven't seen enough evidence on any one to justify a vote at this point.
One question I'd like everyone on the OGML lynch to answer is why you voted for him? Specifically those who were first few on the wagon,
My reason for voting was to keep us from going to a no lynch, which, had this been a normal game I would have preferred, because looking back, he was not the best choice. I posted my vote quickly and with little support because I was worried about being locked out of the thread, by the two posts before mine.in the name of Harman-

Yes, lets get into personal shots, I believe the game is supposed to be about scum hunting and building cases on others, rather than asking them to build a case on you.
Since you will no doubt respond some where along the lines of "lets see some more of that from you" I'll save us all the time and post what apparently passes for worthwhile participation with you.
@Mariytia: you're the one with a vote on me so I'd like to see the case actually spelled out rather than alluded to, burden of proof is on the prosecution.in the name of Harman-

And then you wonder why you have double everyone else's posts, but what does this say? absolutely nothing. How does it help the town or even really relate to the game? It dosen't.sekinj wrote:

I'll not be posting a case on you, because I do not have one, which I have said at least once already.
The reason I put on my list of suspicion is firstly because your quick flip onto OGML and being one of the first on his wagon. And secondly it seemed you were becoming increasingly defensive with little or no reason.
However looking back on post in isolation I decided I don't have enough to justify a vote so I have withheld my vote accordingly.in the name of Harman-

Ok, we had a no lynch yesterday and so far no ill effects, not only that but no one died last night, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one wondering why?
as for a claiming I would also have no problem claiming myself.
And as for not participating, there are several players doing less than me, but if you must have a case from me on someone . . .
sekinj, most obviously for the first day binary lynch, most of us believed it was one or the other, and near the end OGML attempted to reconcile any misunderstanding either of them may have had.
The claim seems much to early in the game and so far is zero for one in the information we've been given.
and yesterday, in a time where we had little or no leads, no attempt was made to use one piece of that information to formulate some semblance of a lead.in the name of Harman-

In this game specifically we were told that if a no lynch occurred that there would be additional negative effects for the town.Rage wrote:Gremwell, could I get this cleared up, from your most recent post:
1. Why what?Gremwell wrote:Ok, we had a no lynch yesterday and so far no ill effects, not only that but no one died last night, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one wondering why?
2. No lynches usually give the Town more information because we get to see who Scum targets, usually correlating to what suspicions were thrown in the Day before.
the perston I had in mind was Singing Librarian, who is now replaced.I can think of only one player who has contributed less, content-wise and not total posts, than you throughout the game, Raverblood. Could you name the others?
Yes that's what I meant by Binary lynch, and the reason I hammered, as stated before, was to try and avoid the negative effects, that now don't seem very apparent.
Underlined: "Binary lynch" as in, "Either Sekinj or OhGodMyLife is scum"?
Italics: Yet you put the hammer vote on OhGodMyLife, and we still don't exactly know why.
No sekinj's claim on D1My claim or my request to Raverblood?
you requested that I post a case on ANYONE, and while reading back your's was the case that stood out the strongest.sekinj wrote:I think Grem is just going for the easy target.in the name of Harman-

I'm talking about the guy who asked which was worse for the town. A no lynch, or lynching someone who was town.

but I'm glad that cass has at confirmed selinj's information for now at least.
Isn't it possible that there we started with less than the full number of scum and now the mod has added another. I know it's not likely and not really a topic for discussion today but I think its important to keep an eye on everyone.in the name of Harman-

my top two would be
quints, for the initial push on sekinj, which now since challenged is steadily starting to flip
think- for what looks to be grasping at straws with his last post and an all around sense of him throwing his opinion around without really knowing whats going on
Also MM for the recent silence when being questioned directly.
on an unrelated note, did anyone have their vote stolen last night?in the name of Harman-

I was saying quints seems to be flip flopping on sekinj, but the way you put it, that is little reason to be suspicious right now.
I find the letter argument more important right now, and I do buy your claim, whether its a town role or not remains to be seen. but I do know someone has been sending letters, based on that I'm inclined to believe you.
as for my recent silence I didn't know there were questions being directed at me recently, and as for my speedy reply my other game just closed and the others are in night so I have more focus to devote to this game now.in the name of Harman-
