You say that like it’s a bad thing.

I believe brighteningskies, and am inclined to think TFL99 would not be so bold or reckless as scum. A50 lean Town.

Disliking Taylor Swift and Galron, but gut says they’re not S/S. Suspicious of Italiano as well.

Oooookay. Thank you to CM1 for his forbearance. I'm going to do a full catchup post overnight, but the first day of school with live students kicked my ass today. I'm caught up, but do not have the energy to type paragraphs when my bed is calling me.

In brief, then -

Italiano is clearly a Jester. Night kill it with fire. Scum, you can't afford for us to get nervous and eliminate him the normal way.

I still do not trust Taylor Swift. Saying fairly straightforward things without better analysis is a classic scum tactic. Unfortunately, it's also a Town tactic.

A50 continues to be Town in my book, and Glitch jumped right in there too. TFL99 still townpings me, though I'm not a fan of everything he has to say.

I am suspicious of Elements, "don't check me" was sus af. I am willing to give him a pass for today though because there might be more there.

Galron continues to ping me. First it was the abiding interest in the mechanics sans substance, then it was the volunteering to be checked. I think A50 (iirc the first to point it out) is dead on, this is exactly how a Defector would operate. He's got my vote.

Who's left? Skies, WLC, insomnia. Eh. There's stuff there, but it hovers in the margin of error.

Apologies, that was rudely said, but convincing people is the
point
here. When we went to ballot the majority was convinced Italiano was Jester, so the only reason for delay would be to convince people to either not target Galron or to begin targeting Italiano (semantic difference, yes, but different motivations.) If Galron were Town, the scumteam wouldn’t be holding up the ballot.

A) Public discussion of PR targets gives clues to the scumteam as to the identity of those PRs.
B) Discussion of future PR actions is a Bad Thing in general because it gives scum a chance to plan around them (i.e. "They're targeting you, better roleblock")
C) Scum are
part of
public discussion about targeting, and can therefore exert influence to their benefit.
D) There are much better ways of crumbing or subtly indicating who you targeted so that the information isn't lost if you die.

I could in fact go on, but I am on record in a number of places with these views and feel no need to further justify myself.

I welcome these questions about my intentions.

I am not hunting the Clairvoyant, I am questioning why, with two Corrupt results, they are not naming and shaming. It is possible it was ManWithNoName, though, but I don't see a clear crumb so shrug.

Sorry, did you think I was crumbing? I am a mystic. I will not be elaborating.

If Galron was a wolf, he was Defector. A Medium or Clairvoyant check wouldn't mean anything.

It's why I want the Clairvoyant to out with it, because if it's not Skies + Glitch, then we've probably got our solution.

I'm prepared to claim now.

I am the Medium - Galron and Man With No Name both returned results as Non-Corrupt. I think it highly likely that MWNN was the Clairvoyant, as a lack of result N2 suggests the Clairvoyant was dead - and it wasn't Glitch.

I believe we are dealing with one more wolf. Galron was suspected of being a Defector, so his NC flip doesn't mean much, but Glitch was definitely a wolf (which is why I didn't bother scanning him).

Sent in my vote. Sorry, kind of depressed today.

Insomnia was non-corrupt, obviously.

Who did A59 land on to investigate?

Uhh just got back from urgent care for the second day in a row sooooo not great?

Went yesterday for a COVID test. I have a runny nose and sore throat and two students in the high school I work at tested positive. Mine was negative, but the NP there gave me a bullshit diagnosis of bronchitis because she heard a slight wheeze in my lungs. Lady, I’m a fat man with post-nasal drip. Of course I have a wheeze. It’s not bronchitis. I’ll take the prednisone, thanks for the negative test aka peace of mind.

Then tonight my wife mistakes her thumb for a potato while using a mandolin and nearly slices a chunk of thumb off. So that happened.

Presumably. If we had more leeway with the numbers I’d entertain giving you a win first, but we don’t. You’ve been a good sport.

I’d commend you for the hustle at the end, but it’s on this page, my dude.

Given that the thread has gone dry, I've PM'd all players who have yet to vote/have yet to say that they're ready to go to the next phase, please either say something in thread or please vote to go to next stage
I very much like the innovation in format provided by the secret ballot/secret vote system, perhaps in the final analysis the "move forward" option just allows scum to lord EOD over Town. Perhaps having some kind of system for publicly identifying who's dragging their feet would help, or perhaps setting a threshold of 75% approving EOD would be appropriate.
