I know this question is meant for UA but I'm going to comment anyway because this game is really frustrating me.

I think Originality is scummier than Dybeck. I also think that it is more likely than not that they are partners, but, if they are not partners, then Originality is probably more likely to be scum which is why I would prefer to lynch him. I don't think lurking = automatic scum. (Except in the cause of xyzzy in Mini 487, because that was just ridiculous). I am, however, thoroughly fed up with this game, and am very close to just switching my vote over to Dybeck to get a move on it already. (I think Originality is scummier because of the way in which Dybeck claimed townie.) I still dont see a real case for jmar other than the lurking. I would, however, consider voting Jenter (who also seems to have disapeared) based on PWS's play. To sum up: if there is no chance in the blue blazes of the fiery pit below that Originality will be todays lynch, I will move my vote.

If Jmar turns out to be town (which, you should note, is not what I have been saying), it wouldn't clear me either. Because how would I have known that he was town? It just opens up another large can of WIFOM. (My issue with the lynch is that he's less scummy than other people, and, thus, should not be the first candidate for lynching, especially since the first wagon on him was complete and total crap, and I think people just latched on to that and want to carry on with it. I also fail to see how its an information lynch. And my biggest issue with it is TSQ just saying "I'm right because I am" Which also applies to Flameaxe.)

I think my concern here is justified because he did not state that that his was opinion. he said it as though it were a fact. Couple that with the fact that Albert might have half-claimed and yet Avalon is still alive. If he were to confirm 3 townies (that includes himself), it makes it that much harder for scum to win, because each town player now only has to pick between 4 people and not 8, and each scum player has 3 less people to implicate.

Since I believe CES's claim, it stands to reason that I believe UA is innocent; scum MUST have targetted him last night. That is unfortunate, because I had this whole case worked up against UA. The only way UA could be scum is if CES is lying to protect UA, which means they would be scum together. That's easily enough found out tomorrow, but I don't think that's the case. The same argument that could be made about Mirth and myself (why would we out ourselves and make it easy for people to link us, as scum) is applicable to UA and CES.

To the rest of it: Avalon, do you honestly believe in the mod-outguessing you're trying to perform yourself? Aside from the fact that wikipedia says we spent the first two seasons terrorizing the rangers, if you're going to mod outguess, a better mod out-guess would be third-party neutrals like survivor masons. (Which we aren't, for the record, though in my opinion survivor would basically read townie-with-a-harder-win-condition)

What we have here is this then:
-Avalon has targetted a player that died. We don't know the kill method as the two night kills have only left behind dust.
-Avalon claims to have roleblocked both me and Kitty. Neither of us can confirm or deny if he's lying as neither of us would have been informed of it do to not having night actions.
-If Jenter isn't lying and has 6 coloured vials, it is more likely that each of them has a different sanity.
- Yellow we know is useless. I'm going to guess Rainbow is random. (Yes, poor attempts at mod outguessing, but I'm trying to straight this out so I can do my mental math).
- black got a guilty on CES, if this is sane, then CES and Avalon are probably scum together.
- red got an innocent on Elmo.
- clear and blue have not been used. I'm tempted to assume that clear is sane. Again, pointless mod outguessing here. Which would lead to 3 unnacounted for.
- which would mean this: black is possibly either paranoid or insane. (in one case it tells us nothing, in the other that CES is innocent) red is possibly naive or insane (nothing or guilty on Elmo). Blue is one of the three.

Now then, I echo Kitty's question:

If anyone else got a vial from Originality, please say something.

I also did not recieve one, as Kitty would have been made aware if I had. I'm assuming CES only got the one if he isn't lying, and that Jenter didn't get any if he doesn't believe CES. So this leaves Blight, Elmo, and Avalon. Please answer.

This brings up a couple of issues:

-Jenter, who has been a nonplayer all game was the firs to suggest a no-kill gambit. How would he know? His claim also seems to contridict CES's claim in terms of how inventors function in this game.
-Avalon has survived this long despite his predecessors soft claiming.
-We do not know who Flameaxe died for and don't have originality to confirm or deny anything.
-Jenter claims innocent on Elmo and guilty on CES.

Thus, scum pairs I find most probable:
- Jenter and CES
- Jenter and Elmo
- CES and Avalon
- Jenter and Avalon
(Jenter has the most wiggle room here)

I am not certain of Battle Mage being town, as I'm still not satisfied with how TSQ *knew* Jmar was scum since he never explained himself and is admittedly not the cop, but I can't think of a likely partnership for him.

Thus unless someone can give me a good reason not to, I shall be moving my vote to Jenter soon.

I agree with you that Battle Mage is probably scum, but I'm not sure if I agree with your analysis of U/A and CES...we don't know if they managed to recruit him, or what the contingencies are about targetting are...so it could still be possible for scum CES to have made up a gambit to save his scumbuddy U/A...but what interests me is this: CES spent a good part of the game siding with TSQ and yet he claimed to protect U/A...hmm...this could be fuel for your misdirection point, but I still can't really reconcile U/A blocking you after we revealed that we're masons. There is one tiny flaw in your reasoning. CES might not have been turned yet, so that if Elmo is scum, he might not have known that CES was on his side, despite CES's lying.

CES would have to know who the scum were, but we don't know that he protected UA. That most likely seems like a lie. Like you said, maybe he was trying to give the remaining scum a message, and if it were Elmo, maybe it didn't get through.
