Eldarad, your claimed item receiving does not mesh with how you played.

If you got an item at night, something which presumably would have *nothing at all* do to with your role, and you target Rotten Snitch, and learn that he is not werewolf, and then much more likely to be town, then *you claim that*.

Why did you not claim it and prevent a mislynch? This whole item thing seems like whenever you get information from an item there is no drawback to claiming it. If you had claimed this yesterday/(two days ago) you likely could have prevented RS from being lynched -- a player that was pretty confirmed town to you. Why would you not do that? What, at all, was the drawback?

I now am very suspicious of you.

Mizzy? Because she made the same mistake that others made day 1 and didn't complain about it (since she was now in the group that made the mistake)?

I'm conflicted right now. I want to lynch eldarad, but that's very off from my read coming in the game. Zindaras sent me a PM asking to double head because he thought he had some decent ideas about who the scum are. Once Ether OK'd the double head, I PM'd back with a PM that was basically like "oh? who?" and he hasn't picked it up yet.

I don't facny going to the 'you must post every day' deadline phase though.

Assuming 3 mafiosi, every single town player needs to post to avoid the no lynch thing, if the mafia choose to lurk. I know that I'll probably lose internet access for a day, or forget, so I really don't want to rely on the deadline shenanigans.

I am voting for eldarad because Yosarian2 is convincing, and eldarad hasn't provided a defense explaining his actions. His not claiming the innocent item thing is not something I'd imagine a pro-town player doing.

Eldarad isn't providing any cases or good alternatives to himself. Nor is anyone else, really.

Sitting around and debating item crap and then possibly missing a lynch is a bad idea.

I expect people to vote eldarad OR present a strong reason why we should lynch someone besides eldarad in their next posts.

Just sitting around debating peripheral setup speculation stuff is NOT beneficial at this point in the game, when we could easily miss a lynch as happened in an earlier day.

In three or four days I'll be on vacation, won't be able to unvote, and won't be able to post once a day for deadline purposes.

Preferring hearing from Andy is all well and good...

But I'd prefer to

get a lynch

before we finish the day. 5/8 posting is no easy feat to maintain. If you think andy is the lynch, go for it.

If you think it is eldarad, go for that too.

Not voting at what very well could be lylo with this crazy deadline mechanic is not beneficial, though.

I, Guardian, am going on v/la for 2 weeks starting now.

I don't know what type of access I will have. I've asked that we not be replaced since between the two of us we should be able to finish the game, but Ether will do as she sees fit. I am pre-sending any applicable night choices now. This does not imply/deny that I have any/don't have any.

Skruffs, Y, Mizzy: personally, if you let this go to night with no lynch, I will find all of you scummy for it.

There's no reason to let that happen, because if the mafia don't get a NK again as they did the past two nights, we have a lynch to spare.

No lynching here takes pretty much any chance of that happening away.

Like I've said, it is unlikely I'll be able to post to postpone the deadline consistently anymore.

Hi, I am posting as to avoid replacement .

I can think of two meanings for Alpha, off the top of my head. I think discussing what it could mean makes sense and I'm troubled that no one has.

I guess that no one likes to be the first to discuss such things because they are accused of insider knowledge. Whatever.

Alpha could mean that there are like, two werewolf teams, Alpha and (Beta for example).

It could also mean godfather, like the Alpha werewolf. I feel confident in assuming that eldarad was on an anti-town werewolf team.

I'm happy eldarad was hammered, and I'm inclined to believe Yosarian2 was on the right track. Yosarian2 being inventor makes sense with all these claimed items floating around.

Yos2 dead makes me think Mizzy is very likely town, and that we should look into andycyca's replacement.

Vacation rocks, am unlikely to post more than a few times in coming week, if at all.

Cool, 'my' letter has gotten around.

Zindy received it night 1 and sent it to Yosarian2 night 2.

I can prove this because I know that the first paragraph has 5 sentences and talks about Capricious. Unless the letter has somehow been altered.

I didn't ask Mizzy about the item since I am pressed for time and skimming.

The three most plausible scums left are me, Y, and hasdfgas, and, well, I know its not me. Y didn't really seem interested in the eldarad wagon, tried to derail it by going after yosarian.

I agree with this, except I have no such confidence about TSPN being town as of yet.

Expect me to reread in a week when I am done with the majority of vacationing, maybe sooner.

My first instinct is that hasdgfas was bus-ing eldarad, from the timing of his vote. Also that andy was scum. However, I will re-read to determine how likely to be accurate my thoughts are.

TT, can you confirm being targeted with wolfsbane? Remember that eldarad used the item to confuse us (Or lied about it), there's always the possibility of him not being the first (Scum can day-talk, IIRC).

Also for the record, at least in what Ether initially gave me, there was no confirmation on my end that anything was stuffed up my nose by Skruffs or whatnot.

I've since asked and there is still no confirmation one way or the other from our modess.

Claiming all unused items seems of more advantage to scum than to town, so I am not in favor.

Until I devote time to a hearty re-read, I am left with my thoughts that hasd & andy are the most probable scum.

Y's trying to cast doubt on Skruffs rubs me the wrong way though; If someone else has wolfsbane, that would merit claiming. However, we've no evidence to believe that there are ANY duplicate items in this game, and Y's unspoken implication that if no one else has wolfsbane Skruffs is more suspect troubles me.

I just re-read the past 10 pages or so, and re-read Yos2.

Yos2 might have been killed because he said he could prove himself, then oh wait, no he couldn't. Maybe he meant his claim would have almost proven him?

He had the scum group pegged to eldarad-andy-y or eldarad-andy-hasd.

I think he is right about the former. I think that tspn's vote on eldarad yesterday was odd, and his discussion of eldarad's item use today sounds like someone with too much information. I think Y is the likely partner, but it could be hasd.

I might not be able to keep the deadline going at all. Assuming two scum left, if I am v/la, they can force a no lynch, which is bad cookies.

I wouldn't mind a nolynch today, to allow any remaining items to be used tonight and perhaps to get more information.
IT being lylo, a nolynch would lower the number of players to 5, rather than 6, which is also beneficial for town in a purely random voting element.

I'd mind a whole lot. We know jack about this setup. What we do know: there are items flying around at night, and the scum have missed two night kills.

If the scum miss night kill again, then if we lynch every day we

gain an extra lynch

That ALONE should make us want to avoid no lynch like the plague.

In addition, there are some hefty items floating around, apparently. Yos2 was a town inventor -- what if there is a scum inventor? What if the scum need items to kill?

In addition, by lynching scum, we keep a greater proportion of townies (presumably with items) alive. More townies with more items seems like a great thing as well.

Also, as far as I can tell, TSPN has votes on him because Yos had the scum group narrowed down to two possibilities, with him in both.

And Andy hammered townie... twice I think? And TSPN comes in and votes Y immeditaly in lylo.

While TT is mostly cleared, he seems to be more suspicious of Y than TSPN until the post where he votes TSPN, with this as his reason:

"He had the scum group pegged to eldarad-andy-y or eldarad-andy-hasd."

Yeah, I think Yos2 had it nailed, and TSPN's quick vote added to it.

Personally, cow and Y are both much more suspicious in my own mind.

Why? Quickly!

Let's lynch TSPN, and lynch him before we mess up this deadline block madness.
