A lot of the arguments here are based on meta, and I haven't played with most of these people, so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage. With that said, opening by claiming a role like that seems really fishy, especially if you've done it in the past as scum. None of mastina's posts since then have sounded at all towny, in fact most have sounded extraordinarily scummy.

I think? FL is town. This doesn't sound like scum!FL in my one game of experience but eh. I really don't like RAS throwing in the towel this easily.

Montosh's reasoning is solid, it seems to follow reasonably. LUV I can;t completely remember why I was so confident, but it was something of a tone read. Mastina I've explained. FL I can't remember, but I think it was his good arguments maybe? Clem is playing like he has in the past as town, but RAS was kinda scummy.

I feel the mediums are more for the player themselves to take into regard the player who died’s reads rather than for us.

The dead guys know their medium’s alignment.

I personally feel like if I were scum with a spirit, I could easily abuse that mechanic, which I’m sure that’s part of the game.

not necessarily. I suppose if we did some sort of crumb without telling anyone to determine town vs. scum medium, it could be useful for everyone. that might be hard though, because someone has to notice the crumb without the medium being told (since scum could manipulate it in that case.)

Chen is confscum for reasons I can now elaborate on. Yesterday Nero tried a fakehammer gambit which chen immediately pointed out. Mobile posting so I can't find the post but he said something a long the lines of "you're not fooling anyone" having caught scum chen with a fakehammer myself, he knows the power of the strategy, and as town would leave it alone or react as if it was hammer. As scum? He would try to tip his partner off in thread to prevent someone being fooled carelessly.

Titus was at L-1. Nero was already voting her, but voted again to make it look like a hammer. If scum is careless and doesn't check the vote count, they might reveal themselves as scum. Then someone else actually hammers. Chen knows this works because I did it to him in Newbie 1917, which ended up a perfect town win. As town he ought to at least let Titus see it to give it a chance to work, even if it was unlikely to work. Instead he immediately called it out.

This is sad. I really enjoyed the game. I knew Chen was scum, but I wouldn't have gotten the others except maybe fl. Also, I guess this vacates one of my recent town wins. Thanks Ank for modding. Well played by the scum team.
