well, generally less skilled players are easy to read. then there's people like alonzo and saudade who have obstructionist playstyles, people like mathblade and rich who are just better at scum, etc. in the case of Enter and Taly, I don't know Enter at all but from being scum and town with Taly once I'm not confident I'd be able to sort them, ergo Enter is who I go for. In the case of you and Mastina, Mastina thrives as scum whereas you hate it, so you are the target to read. Who the stronger player is in your hydra is debatable and not important anyways. And then there's hydras like Michael Scott that post as a unit and I don't know either member at all, so they can just be a hydra read.

And no, my read is about 50-60% based on activity overview, but there's a lot more to it than that. He can post a lot as scum occasionally and lurk as town sometimes, so it isn't infallible to use activity.

When he hammered here, Brigitte was far from locked as the lynch. The only votes were myself and Implosion, and technically Reality Check who vocalized a hard TR (and therefore was persuadable off). I really doubt scum lolhammers there. Additionally, Brigitte's behavior after the fact indicated she didn't know she was hammered but you disagree with that so I won't harp on it.

But aside from Brigitte, his play is generally townie anyways. His flow felt natural. In other words, gut.

The goal of my claim and this post was to check if RC was scum tunnelling me or town evaluating me, because I actually don't think he can read me (though I think he thinks he can) and his play was very townie otherwise.

So

I made this post as a super townie post, and if RC kept pushing on me I'd know he's scum. If not, I'm a 1 shot cop, I get to claim my result in a very good town position and I kinda wante to lolclaim today anyways as sandbagging was getting annoying.
