In my experience killing UA on the first day is very much the wrong thing to do... Especially if he is advocating killing himself.

Why?

I had been getting scummy newbie feelings from Spring for a majority of the game so far, and his response to Simenon put me right over the edge as the post said. The reason my vote never changed for the rest of the day is that 1. I wasn't paying enough attention, and 2. because of 1 I didn't have strong feelings on anyone else. I do feel now that Spring wasn't, and isn't the right choice.

Why?

I have been in a bunch of different games with UA before, and he always plays day 1 out by not really contributing, and trying to get people to vote him. It is just how he plays day 1. Though I can think of one or two times where he didn't play it this way, and he was scum in both instances.

I for one think giving the plague to UA would be a splendid idea. (The plague > AIDS! ) All of his posts are either unexplained/meaningless votes or rooting on the AIDS... nothing helpful. Only thing that comes close is post 89... barely. See for yourself; every single post of his in this thread is one or the other.

But both you and UA were on springlullaby's bandwagon (UA putting her at L-1), and as I've stated before I don't believe springlullaby to be scum and I see the quick bandwagon on her - which took place on page 4, so you should have been paying attention - the workings of mafia intending a quicklynch, so the only reasoning I can denote from this statement of yours is that you two are scum and you're protecting him.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My responses to the why questions are in bold in the quote.

As for your allegations. You are taking something that happened, and forcing it into a situation that you want it to be. This is anti-town, and rather unhelpful to everyone. Yes I was on the band wagon, (I voted second, and gave a reason for my voting. Simenon and I were the only ones to actually give reasons for our votes.) and UA was also on the bandwagon (He voted 5th with a yay bandwagon reason). The only way your quick lynch scenario is even remotely viable is if DGB, Rosso Carne, UA, and myself all are scum together. Are you willing to conjecture that? Also just because I said lynching UA was bad on day 1 doesn't mean that I think it is a bad idea to lynch him at all. (which is what you are implying) Also your immediate leap from it being a quick band wagon, to it being a scum driven band wagon, just because you believe Spring is town is a terrible leap in logic.

It looks obvious to me that you created a situation and did your best to fit UA and me into it, as opposed to creating a situation around the actual actions of UA and myself.

My reasoning behind this is largely because I feel he has been lurking in plain sight up until his last post where he did his best to make me look like scum without giving any reasoning besides the fact that I said we shouldn't lynch UA on day 1. He said a lot without saying much of anything on day 1 in my opinion. He did pester Rosso a lot though, and I am willing to venture a guess he never really seriously looked at anyone else for a lynch because Rosso volunteered himself on day 1. I addressed the reasons I think his last post is ridiculous (and scummy) in my post before this one.

He spent a lot of day 1 saying things that had little to no bearing on what was going on in the game. I really don't like this post either:

Why do you feel potential "too town" from Dahen, and what do you mean by too town?

A few responses regarding your post concerning me earlier on this page.

1. I don't feel Spring is scummy now because after the whole thing (being the quick bandwagon, and I agree with you that there was probably at least 1 scum on it) she represented and responded well to the pressure, which put her back on the townie list. Her response to the bandwagon and many of her posts for the rest of day 1 put me back at ease with her, and for now I feel like it was just a few new player mistakes again at the beginning.

Also while you are right that it was just restating what I had already said, my point was that at that time I felt almost all of her play was scummy, and so was not picking out specifics.

2. Like I stated already, I agree with you that there was probably scum on the wagon somewhere. I would say this even if I thought Spring was scum still because there is no better way to bus than on a quick wagon. It makes it easier to throw suspicion onto the townies on the wagon later.

3.Care to give me reasons that my last point is wrong for many reasons? Also why am I a liar for that opinion? Is it possible you have nothing to back up your statement that my thoughts regarding you aren't true?

I will reveal more about my role right now though. I am a scientist, me and my mason partner each have 1/3 of an antidote to the plague but a 3rd person stole the last part of it from us. We win when the threat of the virus is neutralized.

We don't know exactly how the vaccine works. All we were told is that it is a cure to the virus. I don't know what will happen if we get all three pieces of it together. I also don't know if there is another way for UA to get the part of the vaccine he has to us without dying.

We have no updates on the vaccine. Spring was unable to give us her piece of the instructions, and so we have nothing as of yet. I think it was just bad luck that spring got a chance to post about it before we did, and so got the third piece of the instructions and we didn't.

Yes Spring tried to give it too us. She was apparently unable to do that because we weren't told we got the piece of the instructions she attempted to hand to us, and it hasn't be acknowledged by Skruffs in any way.

I wasn't trying to imply that she didn't try to give it to us, just that she was unable to do what she tried to do.

I don't think she needs it at all. I'm just saying that she was the first person to post about it after UA died, and immediately found the vaccine instructions. Which was unlucky because neither Dahen or I had a chance to get on and post before the whole thing happened.

Not really! Anyone can 'put a vaccine on the table' - but it will not be mod confirmed as real or fake until that player has died. (Don't ask me why). Any other answer would confirm the existance of more pieces of the vaccine and/or the players who are holding them.

Masons give the town two people who can talk throughout the game and discuss what is being done, and who is potentially scum. They can help guide the town in a nightless game. Thats what I think anyway.

Do you see masons as having more power in a night game DGB?

I think DGB should be infected because I feel like the possibility of 1 scum (who is an SK) is more and more likely at this point. I mean think about it, in a game where it doesn't take town majority to decide on the next "lynch" having one scum gives them a more equal chance of winning the game. The town ravages itself while the SK (1 shot) can just sit in the background and claim 1 shot vig if anything comes up about them. Then later they take out a town member saying they think the town member is scum.

It makes it more even town vs scum because scum will very often leave small hints as to who their partner is, and if one is found the other can often be found as well. So if there is only one scum they have a smaller chance of ever being found, and on the other side the town has more people to find them with.

I am not denying the possibility that dahen is scum spring. I am just saying what I think is most likely at this point.

Think about it though. In a nightless game an SK who can kill more than once would be extremely overpowered. Especially under the guise of a vig.

If you are set on infecting either myself or dahen though, I would prefer you infect him because I know I am town aligned.

I think what dahen just said is a logical argument for why both of us can't be scum. It also gives more of a fair chance with one scum in the game.

If you look back through the game I have been working on trying to get the vaccine together and working the entire time. If I was scum don't you think I would have been more quiet about what I was doing about the vaccine? The only thing I can't figure out is why dahen and I aren't able to interact with the piece of the vaccine instructions of the table.

What more is there to tell? I was told by the mod that I had one part of a vaccine, and dahen had one part, but the third part was stolen from us. It turned up with the Janitor and when he died Spring got it and put it on a table. I am unable to interact with it right now (as was shown when skitzer answered my question about putting my part with the part on the table) and now here we are.

I don't think refusing to infect anyone will stop the infection, just make it so a random person gets infected.

Having zero scum in the game is an interesting idea, although an extremely unlikely one imo. I think we have either 1 or 2 scum.

Alright so this has a story behind it. I decided upon getting my role that I was a mason if I ever needed to claim in this game. I let myself think that until it felt natural to do so after getting infected. I lucked out that BM could protect me. Then people started asking who my mason buddy was. Dahen and I discussed it through pm, and we went with it. (btw our role pm's also said we could communicate at any time during the game, even though it isn't in the one a few posts back) It should be noted that this was the first of two times we talked through pm for the whole game. Then UA got killed, and we scrambled to give a good reason why the "vaccine" wasn't able to be used yet, (the second time we talked) and the town bought that it must have been because Spring got the third piece not us. I'm as impressed it worked as anybody else is I gotta admit, especially since the townie pm should have put a bullseye on my head the moment I started talking about it.

So now my turn for a question... why did you pick me Dahen?
