Oman, I believe the cop claim, but I need more time to think about it... :P

IH: What are the odds with that plan? Personally, I don't want to win through pure luck, but if we go with that, I feel the list should be random. Also, I don't see why it's best for everyone to shoot n1, when we have the least information. What about no-one shoots n1 and we all shoot n2 for example? I'll read that game sometime, anyway.

All: I read the last TJ game, and (iirc) one guy had three bullets in him, while one scummy guy didn't get any - everyone thought the others would vig him. How do we avoid that kind of thing, if at all?

Random

Kidding. Last time we played, Oman won with a fake cop claim. :)

IH: Fine. I counter-claim - I'm the real cop. I was trying to subtly insinuate that Oman might be lying, but you've gone and wrecked it now. I hope you're happy.

Quickly: Kill claim makes sense. Not sure why it has to be night 1. I'll do it if everyone else will. Same as JDodges plan, I vote no but if we get a majority that say yes I'll go for it. But I'd still like it randomised and some analysis of our actual winning odds before I sign up. I can randomise it with dice tags if anyone cares about boring work.

Hi. Was away since Thursday, sorry. I've thought about it and I like JDodge's plan best. I'm still a little concerned about the amount of potential there is for too many people to shoot the same target or leave a target uncovered because of lack of coordination, but I haven't heard anything I like better yet.

If I'm understand IH's plan right, and did my maff correctly (fat chance) then shooting the person below you in a random list gives us ~65% chance and random suicide pairings give us ~72% chance. A randomised list will avoid the silliness above (eg post 64), which is why I suggested it be random in the first place - I'll do it myself with dice tags if everyone wants it. But as I said, I don't like it because it's deeply not fun (entirely based on luck - what kinda win is that, anyway?), and I'll say now that I'm not going with that plan. I don't know what that does to the odds. I'm aware that it's likely that
someone
out there will think this means I must be scum and will vig me for saying this, but that's where I'm at, and I'm probably not changing my mind.

I'll probably look at what Panzer wrote later and rethink my vote tonight, when my head is screwed on straight. Too much coffee...

Panzer: Why you want votes on Sammich, he doesn't read what you said? That don't make him scum. The Sammich wagon sucks, tbh.

JDodge: YGLABN is scum. Dunno about Oman/UA, maybe. Not liking Panzer much, personally.

I count: schismatized <- Elmo, Oman, Gorgon, distad for lynch - 3 since the vote count in 112. Ahead of Sammich on 3 (ssf, Panzer, Schism).

Hm, that wagon picked up quickly. You're still scum, though.

You're content to hammer Sammich without any kind of reason, yet you object to an Oman wagon because... it doesn't have any reasoning.

I think, at minimum, you need to give reasons why you wanted Sammich lynched if you're going to ask for any from JDodge. I'm going to wager that you don't have any.

schism: The 'claim' certainly doesn't affect anything; I'm not going to tell you what to do with your vote, and no-one else should, either.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, scum are selected at random, so that's not something I'd base my vote on, Panz.

Needs prods. Everyone prodded, what do you think of UA? Also, Oman's now at six. You can very well go to night, UA, if you want.

I'm quite surprised at the result, to be honest. Well played to JD, nonetheless - I was pretty certain you'd die regardless of Oman's alignment, so I didn't think too deeply about you being scum or not. UA redeems himself :D
