You are the citizens of an unnamed town that bristles with criminal activity. In fact, so much, that they have started killing all the innocents to take over the town. You 12 have barricaded yourselves in a house to defend yourselves from the mafia outside. But what you will soon find out is that your enemy has already planted their agents

Can you just confirm that is correct? In most games I have played it is usually 7 out of 12 needed to lynch (or the equivalent sort of thing like 4 out of 7, 3 out of 4 etc.).

Yes, this is correct. This game will move at a slightly faster pace than most games, and it will always take half the players to lynch when the number of total players are even, and above half when the number of players are odd. At deadline, it will take the same number of players to lynch as now. If you do not reach half or over(even or odd) by that time, there will be a no-lynch and we will move on to night. I wouldn't let discussion slow down if I were you, because deadlines will not be extended.

After a brusque but heavy discussion, where accusations fly and egos are hurt, The Deepfried Ninja leaves the old but well-furnished living room, disgusted by Volkan. SPAG and Gorckat, who were both on the lookout on the rooftop for more mafia villains, heard one of the bedroom's door slam shut, accompanied by violent profanities. They both come down the stairs and demand to know what has happened. While the living room survivors explain to SPAG and Gorckat the recent events, Volkan silently pulls Oman away from the group to the kitchen. Unsuspectingly listening to Volkan while the latter turns the knob of the back door, Oman wonders if it is a good thing to be with one of the leaders of discussion. Oman follows Volkan outside, and answers his questions in a carefree manner, until he says something Volkan deems wrong. As the ruckus in the living room can still be heard and confusion reigns in the house, one man comes to a decision. Volkan pulls a gun from his trouser's back pocket and fires three rounds at Oman's chest.

"Yippy Kay yay..."

He is interrupted by curiouskarmadog that rushes towards him and attempts to disarm him, and both men struggle with the firearm. Ckd manages to unload the weapon, which is quickly confiscated by Paradoxombie, who is the second to arrive. Paradoxombie then walks back inside while everyone is running to where the noise came from. With an indiscernible look in his eyes, he goes to the toilet and flushes the two remaining rounds.

"These are too dangerous...even the criminals out there don't have guns."

When he returns to the small garden outside, everybody is surrounding Oman's corpse. TheHermit is kneeling, searching Oman's person. He finds a knife, a flare and a piece of paper that he reads out loud:

"Use the flare when they are all dead. Until you three complete your job, don't bother coming back. -Boss"

Everyone looks at each other suspiciously...

I am going to add a new special rule: don't second guess me. I have already asked extensive advice from higher powers and the most experienced mods, so it isn't your place to question me at every turn. Honestly, I only have a limited amount of time to finish this game up because of a new personal routine I am implementing. Upon a rough estimation, I would give this game maybe another 5 weeks or so.

EDIT: If I can somehow find replacements before deadline, I am likely to give you an extension of a week or two. If not, deadline is set in cement and the replacements will arrive on day 2.

After a long and antagonizing day, you all come to a decision around midnight. Paradoxombie must be the one to die. 6 of you jump him and beat him to death, letting his screams of pain roar through the night until his last breath. After the violent death, paranoia slips into all of your consciences, because you start to think that maybe Paradoxombie wasn't your man...regardless, you are all feeling very tired.

Elias advises to double the lookouts tonight, an idea that is immediately adopted. It is decided that the survivors will be grouped in two four-man teams. The two teams will rotate in the middle of the night for rooftop guard duty and a good night's sleep in the master bedroom. Volkan, the most paranoid of the survivors, will be armed with a baseball bat and sleeping alone in the safe room in the basement on a makeshift mattress. The room's metal door is locked and its thick walls cannot be breached. Setael, running on now 32 hours without sleep, has asked to be left alone in the secondary bedroom, which also has a small lock of its own. You have granted her permission. A perfect plan...right ?

Mafia, send in your night choice! Masons, you have 48 hours to talk tonight. Tell me when you're done talking!

Setael slept as a baby as soon as her head hit the pillow. She didn't hear Volkan and CKD arguing loudly in the basement before each men regained their respective rooms. She didn't hear Nelly's voice yelling at those "lazy bums" to wake up at 4 AM to take rooftop guard duty. None of that. What she did hear, though, was the massive explosion that shook the very foundations of the house at 7 AM. As she slowly opened her hollow eyes, she haggardly saw shadows running down the stairs behind her bedroom door. Then all of a sudden, everything became quiet...

It was hard to separate dream from reality for her..she thought she heard footsteps coming bac-

WHAM!!

TheHermit kicked her door open in a violent display of brute strength, breaking the small lock that she thought was keeping her safe while she slept. Setael immediately regained her senses.

"What th-"

"Hurry to the ground floor", TheHermit said before vanishing downstairs.

Moments later, everyone was reunited in front of the ruined bathroom. Nothing but a skeleton was left of Volkan in the entrance.

"The light bulb. It was filled with gasoline", declared JordanA24 as he was crouching in on the corpse, "and when Volkan turned on the switch, the bulb exploded in his face."

"Those damn rats knew that there were no bathrooms in the basement..." said Elias as he was losing his temper.

"...and that everyone upstairs would use the one on the second floor'', finished Gorckat.

A few meters away, Setael noticed something glistening on the ground. She leaned in, and picked up a key...

Volkan must have been the owner of this house...

Yagami was surrounded by everyone living in the house.

Shanba stepped up, and Yagami attempted to escape. Setael tripped him and Ckd jumped on him with a well placed stomp on the neck, breaking it immediately. After a search of his person, a note was found in his shoe:

"We're not gonna make it boss.."

It is currently night 3 and you have 48 hours to talk/send in your night action!

While everyone was sleeping in the same room this time, Jordan and Setael were selected to patrol the ground level for any disturbances. At about 2:30 AM, on his way to the kitchen, Jordan recognized a survivor enveloping Setael's head with a blue plastic bag, trying to choke her. As he ran like leopard to the woman's rescue, he was met with a flying knife stuck in his face. Jordan, vanilla townie, was knifed night 2! The murderer feared he made too much noise so he escaped, but Setael was left unconscious and never caught a glimpse of who the assassin was. Or at least, that's the story she tells you when she wakes you up at 3:15AM.

Now, you look around and you see the faces that have lived with you for three days and three nights. Who do you trust ?

With 7 alive, it is 4 to lynch!

This game has to be moving at a much faster rate now, because my departure from mafiascum is imminent. Remember, the faster you end the day, the more time you will have the following day. Gorckat saw more hands grab him than he could count. He was promptly thrown into the dark and empty wine cellar, where Hermit and curiouskarmadog would take turns to interrogate him. Good cop, bad cop. After an hour of fruitless questioning, Nelly walked in. Crazy cop. Everyone has a breaking point, he claimed.

The rest of you were outside, waiting on the results of this unethical information gathering. You could hear Gorckat's pleas for help, which turned into screams after 5 minutes with Nelly. 30 minutes later, all you could hear were hushed murmurs. In the brief window of time between which the heavy door opened to give way to Nelly and closed behind his bloodied figure to hide the horrific scene, you could see a helpless, lifeless Gorckat, bathing in his blood on the cold cement. His eyes were gouged, his fingers mutilated and his arms perforated with shards of glass. The furtive glimpse you risked burned a horrendous image under your eyelids.

"Its not him", whispered a shameful Nelly. Innocent townie Gorckat was lynched on day 3.

Night 4! You gots 32 hours to send in your night choice and talk among masons!

During a quiet and distasteful supper, CKD's face suddenly contorts as he falls. He gasps incomprehensible things until his heart finally stops beating. Poison. You search his body and find a picture of him and volkan at the world cup with what seems to be their wives.

Setael, in her new calm collected state, remembers the heavy footsteps running down the stairs two days prior. She remembers the scent of the one who held a bag on her head yesterday. And she remembers him to be Shanba. The pieces of the puzzle are put together.

Just as the survivors decided to kill Elias next, with an uncanny hunch, she smashed a bottle cognac on the last mafia envoy's head. There were no deaths the following day, nor the week after. They were finally safe.

Setael inherited volkan's house, and became HoH. TheHermit got immunity and veto on all decisions of the household because of his wisdom, despite his young age. Elias, with all the pain and drama gone from the house, settled down and meditated every day to control his panic attacks. Nelly decided he would bury the bodies of Gorckat, Jordan, and all the lost souls out there and set out on a path of redemption.

A big red flag was raised from the roof of the house, in a diligent ceremony to commemorate the deaths of Volkan, CKD, and all the others who passed away.

'The good die young', articulated Elias as he put a rose on CKD's grave.

'Rest in peace, my brother' said a teary Setael, to everyone's surprise, as she laid her gold chain on the cross under which what was left of volkan was buried.

And with that, Nelly lighted the fireworks. Hermit looked as far as the eye could see, and grimly said to the city below him:

"Bring it on. We'll bring all of you crashing down."

i am highly suspicious of elias and para at this point. they both (along with oman) jumped on the nelly wagon very fast.

Maybe it is because of the self vote, but I am thinking that nelly is just newbie town. A guess would be that he wanted to pull an “i told you I was town” type comment once lynched. Sort of guessing here though. Oman places his vote on him gives him some town creds anyway. Nelly, your thoughts on this?

The only names capitalized were pulse and volkan. Not only that, but the first letters of every sentence in the last paragraph states M.A.S.O.N. That was the most obvious one EVER.

CKD, that disappointed me soooo much. Usually masons will have complex codes to cover up their crumbs...I remember mine used to be something like xyz=efg and something really complicated to prove the right formula was used.

I think you're radically oversimplifying things if you assume that (a) all townies are able to act townie (b) no scum are able to act townie and (c) the masons would be able to tell the difference with perfect accuracy, which is what this plan seems to require since it exposes the masons. If the masons take the lead and get it wrong, well, apart from scum

that helps nobody. The first attempt

at lynching scum that fails leaves us in real trouble in that scenario, so I can't see how it's

an option you might want to use

. Is the ability of 3 masons to pick 3 scum out of 8 people so very much greater than the ability of 8 protown players to pick scum from the whole field? Lowell seems very certain that it is.

1. ABR. The third letters of the words colored blue spell ALBERT.

2. A Papaya. This one's a bit more complicated, but I wanted to make sure if one code had to be revealed it wouldn't lead to discovery of the other.

Take the first letters of the words colored red to get AOYMWTU. Now, move each successive letter forward an increasing number of letters in the alphabet, starting with zero so the first letter is unchanged. That is,

A+0 = A
O+1 = P
Y+2 = A
M+3 = P
W+4 = A
T+5 = Y
U+6 = A

And voila, A Papaya.

SPAG obviously f*cked up for YL, and he couldn't do shit. I honestly feel bad for him.

Shanba didn't give this game that much effort, as he said himself. I almost had to prod him a few times. I think I did once. He just had no interest in reading the massive amounts of text, I guess.

Oman played fairly bad, by all accounts.

Setael somehow derailed the Elias wagon when I thought all was lost, and squeezed the last scum in some really big turnaround finale.

CKD, your analysis and discussions were strong, but you twice mislynched in Parax and Gorckat, and if not for your stubborness, I don't think they would have been lynched. Not only this, you claimed inappropriately and as a result got NK'd. Despite of some major mistakes, I believe you played better than Shanba, Sir Tornado and most of the other players.

Elias was a survivor in this game. Pure survivalist. I don't how he did it, but he made it. Respect.

Nelly...another guy I have no idea how he lived. lol I really don't. But he was on some crucial bandwagons so its all good.

Hermit played fantastically well too, and would've convinced me to be the last mason.

Jordan played really well too, imo, although his stay was a short one.

Gorckat started out slow but really got the ball rolling once he was under suspicion, mainly by you.
