Open 27 Read

The Central Scrutinizer (replacing Mokina (replacing

Enlightened Bystander))
ryan
Tarhalindur
FeRnAnDo
spectrumvoid
Aimee
Albert B. Rampage (replacing Barmacral)

----

1: Fun randomvoting goodness. My own quirk, especially

in C9, is that I like to have preliminary scumpairs in

mind based on who randomvoted who. Our winners here:

Ryan-Spectrumvoid
Fernando-TCS
Tarhal-ABR
Aimee-Ryan
TCS-Ryan
Spectrumvoid-Aimee
ABR-Spectrumvoid

Tarhal likes pressure voting. Slow starting game.

Switches vote as soon as Barma/ABR posts. Barma

doesn't randomvote, Ryan takes umbrage.

2: Tarhal votes Barma, considering a no-vote to be as

good as a vote for no lynch. I don't agree with this

assessment at Post 26.
FOS: Tarhal
.

Barma-Spectrumvoid randomvote, gives into pressure by

Ryan. Aimee makes good points in 33, but I'm a lot

more concerned with Tarhal's vote-hopping than with

Barma's easily caving to pressure. Giving into

pressure isn't a scumtell; in fact it's more of a

newbie town tell than anything else. Not sure why Ryan's so strong on Barma. Wondering where Fernando/SV are.

3: Ryan is very interested in making sure that people are voting. This is a null tell without other info, but this could be significant. Barma is sideways claiming power role. :\ Guys are right--lurking is probably hurting this game. I really don't see how Ryan can clear Tarhal, which is fishy to me.

4: SV returns, gives some analysis I agree with. Ryan re-votes Barma. Aimee's post 85 seems to say too much without saying enough, IMO. Tarhal gets very confrontational in response. Misreads SV... I'm not sure what game he's playing in. 93: This post makes Barma look a lot more like scum than previous posts did.
Major FOS: Ryan
for immediately unvoting a player he had voted twice right after that player just made the scummiest post he had made all game.

5: I don't like Mokina's first post. I wish I weren't her. Or that she wasn't me. Or whatever. Ryan hops again, to Fernando. Again, I'm not certain exactly what he's trying to accomplish if it's not to encourage posting or bus. I'm not exactly getting Ryan's play. Tarhal misses a grand opportunity to hop onto the Ryan-wagon, instead FOSing. If we should lynch Ryan and he comes up scum, I'm definitely bearing down on Tarhal.

6: Not much to add. Albert's first few offerings seem townie enough to me.

7: Now Tarhal votes Ryan. Let the games begin.

There seems to be a lot of fishy interaction between Tarhal and Ryan. That's why they top my list of possible scum. If I had to divide up the town, I'd do it like this, ranked from scummiest to least scummy.

Scum

1. Tarhal
2. Ryan

Neutral

3. Fernando
4. ABR

Town

5. Spectrumvoid
6. Aimee

At this point I'm going to
vote: Tarhalindur
, and
Confirm MFOS: Ryan
. His FOS and subsequent vote on Ryan smells like a big yellow bus to me. Combine that with Ryan's erratic behavior, especially towards Barma/ABR, and I'm not uninclined to think that I've found a scumpair.

So vote Tarhalindur with me. You're talking a big game, but you're not doing anything to back it up. That's a scum tell.

FOSing a player multiple times and encouraging others to vote for that player without yourself committing to do so is scummy behavior.

How many times have I FoS'ed Tarhalindur before that post? I'll answer that one for you, zero. In fact I don't use FoS very often in this game, more often than not I drop a vote on them subject to be lifted dependent on observations or content to a question I've asked.
FOS as a general term of suspicion, not the "official" bolded FOS. Glad that you're all too willing to split hairs.

I suppose we'll figure out who's scum and who's not eventually. I think I will be vindicated.

Because I'm town, and she agrees with my assessment of who our scum are.

Ask yourself why you're the "most town" on my list.

You have Aimee on your town list though and SV has a vote on her as scum, that's not really agreeing is it?
SV voted Aimee in her first post. She hasn't said anything about Aimee's scumminess in subsequent offerings. Which, now that I think of it, merits a
FOS: Spectrumvoid
.

Aimee--You may be perfectly justified and perfectly town, but the extent to which you're dominating discussion doesn't sit well with me. I'll
unvote
because my previous vote was out of anger, but don't think I feel any less uneasy about how much you are trying to lead.
