But you found the game to post this comment and still didn't cast a random vote? Interesting............Barmacral wrote:Sorry, been checking the site daily... and haven't been able to find this game. Don't further the game? I 100% disagree with that statement and I guess we'll see if a little pressure gets some more talking.Barmacral wrote:I never cast random votes. A couple of random votes early in a game makes guilty people sit up and take notice and gets them talking. The chance to get a mafia member to slip up and tell too much about themselves early in the game is what I'm looking for. I'm very happy to put pressure on you right now and see if the cookie crumbles and to see what other voting patterns happen. Maybe your scum buddies will build a bandwagon on somebody else and than we can trap them. OR maybe we just take you out Baramacral and chalk it up to a great first day lynch?
You don't seem very interested in scum hunting, in fact you aren't a fan of random voting, don't really see a need to throw out a "who gives a crap vote" I find that to be a little strange. Why no vote? Where does that get you in finding scum? A no vote (as stated above) is the same as a No Lynch on Day 1, which is a HUGE townie mistake and puts us in a hole immediately. I mean we've already got you talking with a few pressure votes, maybe we'll get you to crumble and take out a mafia member on Day 1 (a nice little victory for us)Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

TWO people asked why you wouldn’t post a random vote and than all of a sudden you post a random vote? Even after you said you NEVER posted a random vote? We all seem insistent? How about two people asked why you wouldn’t? What are you hiding here on page #2 already? You seem to be kind of edgey already. Feel like giving up your role already too? (sarcasm of course)Barmacral wrote:A random vote though? Who cares? Its part way through page 1, and half of the other people have a random vote on them as well, whats another one gonna do?
A random vote does nothing for the game. Now if you get two or three random votes on you (well, the later ain't so random I suppose) then it starts too build up pressure, as you are actually moving towards a lynch. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

Aimee: Totally agree on the "Barmacral is acting plain odd" statement and although I believe him to be scum at this time, I also agree with your comment about the fact that he seems to take a little pressure and cave and that could hurt us in the end game if he's still around. Tarhalindur, doesn't worry me as much with the pressure vote to another player back to Barmacral. Jumping votes around doesn't freak me out as much as not having a reason for doing it, I think he explained himself enough that I don't feel much scummy wise from him currently.
Fernando and spetrumvoid are the two that are making me wonder a little bit. Random votes still on doesn't throw up a scumflag, but their lack of discussion this early in the game looks to me as just lurking, and until they step it up with content I find their silence anti town. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

Some content, good to see What do you think should be done with lurkers?Enlightened Bystander wrote:Sorry about the lack of communication, I was busy for longer than I expected.
Conversations so far;
Barcarmal is playing slightly unusually, and the bowing to pressure does worry me, but I don't think what he's done is a strong scumtell.
Fernando attempting to distract could just be newbish mistake, but it could also be a scum distraction. He also seems to be lurking a bit, but It's not like I can talk about that!
Tar's drifitng between those two could be fishing for a bandwagon, or it could be drifting off the most suspicious person here.
Spec's not been round much either.
ryan is reasonably active, got dragged in to the discussion on RVoting with bar, but has now moved on to discussions with aimee.
Aimee's not done anything too suspicious either.
Overall, nobody seems to trigger off too heavy an alarm for me yet, I think we need more discussion to build up.Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

Unvote/Vote:FeRnAnDo. Although I still find Barmacral scummy, this game is dragging along due to players like Fernando not posting. Post 21 was useless and just a post stuffer. He's had zero content. I just noticed Barmacal has only 33 game posts, 7 less than me. he may not be used to pressure... in my first game, due to pressure, i sent a pm to a player saying i was COP and that got me modkilled, i don't blame him... but that doesn't mean he's townie, since not voting is really weird.
And Tarhalindur spitting out votes all over really made me raise an eyebrown. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

Cephrir, spectrumvoid needs a prod. From her absense in other games, I am pretty sure that she is currently not here - she hasn't posted in a while in any games - so I definitely don't think it is strategic lurking from her part. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

I like the idea actually. My two scum votes right now would be........... (in order)
1) FeRnAnDo: I feel his posting isn’t of content and he’s lurking more than anything. His football comment earlier was a complete waste of a post. Post 55 seems to say, well Barmacal hasn’t posted as much as I have.” Unfortunately neither have posted content of any sort
2) Barmacal: I don’t like him not liking random votes as I always find the random vote stage a way to gauge how people vote and how they act when people vote them. THAN when asked to give a random vote he was more than happy to do it.
Pro Town Players (IMO)

2: Tarhalindur

Aimee: First off Barmacral misrepresented my post. I asked him why he stated, and he did state that he NEVER does random votes. I than asked when he planned on voting and why voting randomly was a bad play in his mind. (Voting randomly and putting pressure draws out players who aren’t posting and than we learn more about them) That entire exchange resulted in a small amount of pressure to at least random vote and after stating he NEVER did that, he did just a few posts later (in 28)
As for doing a “big post” on somebody……..um we’re 4 pages into this game with little information, I have no problem posting a little info on EB though.
Post 10: Random Vote on Ryan
Post 15: Says we are quiet but than states he’ll be away till Tuesday
Post 43: Overall post about the game, nothing earth shattering here
Post 47: Says to poke lurkers and than eventually some pressure votes might be a good idea. Nothing scummy here
Post 69: Throws out his top two suspicions. FeRnAnDo and Tar. His explanation on Fernando for not adding any information is a one of those “huh?” EB also hasn’t added a whole heck of a lot up to this point either, so I’m not happy with that for his reasoning. Doesn’t really throw a good suspicion on Tar either. Basically these look like two choices and he doesn’t seem to have good reasoning for either
An obvious non contributor and is worthy of a pressure vote. I’m happy with my current pressure vote on Bara but I wouldn’t hesitate to place one on EB.Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

Barmacral: I'm not a fan of the comment that you admit to lurking and stay quiet, but I asked for content and I am satisfied with what you posted. So in keeping with my voting lurkers, EB has been extremely quiet and it seems as though I'm not the only one who doesn't have a read on you, so I'm fine with putting a vote on you till I hear something that shows me if you are town or scum. So far you've done enough on both sides that I don't who you are affiliated with, so a vote on you I think is warranted. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

I do not have a concrete opinion on EB at this time. He hasn't posted enough for me to get an accurate read on him. His top two scum choices weren't fingered very well and I didn't get much after reading that post. He's definetly a lurker but I'm not sure if that concludes he's scum.Aimee wrote:

Why shouldn't I attack FeRnAnDo, he's making excuses for why he can't post a player analysis and you think that's legit? Than he posts a "I'm still here don't worry" post and still doesn't post analysis. EB was already MIA this entire game (and has been replaced) post your analysis and quit waiting for others to lead you.Tarhalindur wrote:Tarhalindur Note: I'm still here, with a little more access than I've had for the last week or so. As early as we are in this game for somebody to say they are 90% sure somebody else is town is a heck of a stretch (even you have to admit that) that is why I posted what I said. There is the exact quote. For some reason a few players (Tarha, Fernando and Aimee) seem to have information that they aren't willing to share or at least reasons they feel somebody is town that they aren't willing to share, that isn't very pro town if you ask me and the argument that it will help the scum isn't an argument, the scum know who they are, as long as we aren't giving out roles, I find no reason to not give reasons why somebody is town. We seem to have no problem fingering people for scum, so why not why people are town? One if not two of those three are scum.Tarhalindur wrote:I spotted something in one of Fernando's posts that makes me 90% sure he's pro-town.Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

The correllary here is that talking about a subject unrelated to the game is very good for the scum, since by distracting the townthe scum make it less likely that the town will find and lynch them.Unvote, Vote: FernandoAimee wrote:I'm still here. How is Fernando's vote on me and than Tarha's vote within a few posts (after not contributing) not raise a huge red flag? Eratic behavior? I don't like games where people sit on their hands with no votes and no opinions and let the town lead, scum don't normally lead games, they look for a townie to make a mistake and than they pounce on it and see if they can get a quick lynch before the rest of the town has a chance to weigh in. We have enough players doing this currently to give me a great indication that Fernando and Tarhalindur are scum and NOT just because they have a vote on me, it's how they went about doing it. I can say with total certainity that if we get one lynched, we can get the other the next day after our cop investigates, this game should be a no brainer but lack of participation and some estranged townies are making it alot more difficult. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

I find both to be scum, does it matter which scum we lynch as long as we lynch one? I'd rather get one than none so whether it be Fernando or Tar, I'm happy as long as we get one of the scum.spectrumvoid wrote: Hence, if we buy the 'I'd be fine with voting for tar or fernando', why choose tarh? Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-

I know I'm town and have watched both of them try and place a case on me for awhile now with sketchy reasons at best. Tar's reasoning for voting me were pathetic and made it an easy vote to place on him. Either or is scum, and if you don't believe me, investigate me, I'm here to out the scum. Please remove your head from your ass before you vote.-
