What did I replace into??!!!

Read everything.
Feel incredibly sick.

We have an SK.

Most probably scenario: 2 Mafia, 1 SK.

Still sick.

Two deaths.

I just think it'd be a little overtaxing on the town if there were two full mafia factions.

A vig wouldn't have killed dogmom, she was so overwhelmingly helpful. And I had thought everyone had come to some sort of agreement to let albert get to Day 2 at the least.

Then how come DogMom, for instance, said it was reasonable to assume that we had 9 town (7 now) and that there were 3 scum?
I'm pretty sure she wanted to make the numbers easier. If she factored in an SK into the mix, it would have led to much more pessimistic results.

From what I've seen meta, vollkan frequently overextends, but this is a little dodgy. I'm unsure whether you want to start a counterwagon, but I'm not going to join just yet. You bring up a good point. Perhaps a little too good. Have you ever suspected vollkan before, or is this just a spontaneous development?

I'm here. I'm just not that engaged (I think I speak for a lot of people) because of the loss of two pro-town power roles and 3 town players total being dead. With Albert's gambit yesterday, I know that I'm in mindset when I feel that everyone's testimony is poisoned because of Albert's play and his ability to rally everyone into focusing on him.

As a person on the side of the town, I hope I'm not alone in saying that I feel a bit bleak about Day Two, and thus have not paid much attention to this game out of all my games because of these circumstances.

In fact, this may be a situation where the
rats
stay
on
the boat.

I know, which is why I made my statement. I admit that I'm not contributing as much simply because I feel a bit disabled and don't know where to start picking at Day One.

Ryan, I am taking summer classes and they are killing me.

And I think I have contributed something very important that you are obviously too obtuse to construe as assistence:
TrustGossip wrote:This might be a situation where the

Translated:

Because we have lost both a cop and a doctor, the game is in a state where the scum should become bolder in their movements and designs. If I'm conjecturing correctly (this is a big if), they would amplify whatever they were doing Day One; be it playing exactly as if they were town, flying under the radar with moderately helpful but ultimately misleading, namedropping and headhunter tactics, or any myriad of possible behaviors.

Blame it on inexperience/laziness/lack of time, but I'm not entirely sure what the above means for our scumhunt.

Thank you ryan, for the slightly slanderous mention of my name that has provoked me out of doing calculus homework to respond in this game.

Oh and FYI: ryan, StallingChamp is banned, at least for the moment, for activities concerning a newbie game he IHed.

Ryan, I agree with you and apologize for being part of the problem. Out of all my games, this one has the most stuff to reprocess with a fine comb yet the least stuff to go on. I've been doing calculus off and on for a long time and my way of completing homework is not conducive to spending a 3 hour chunk of time reading a Mafia thread. I will try to get some observations on the table soon that aren't all gloom and doom.

I'm inclined to think that ParadoxZombie is scummier than Deathsauce at the moment.

The two main thoughts I remember having about Day One are:

"Alfred is CRAZY!"
"Paradox is really aggressive!"

I will try to reread as soon as possible. I am even more cramped for time now that I've started work and twenty pages is oh so long!

Again sorry, but I'd like to put what little I have come up with on the table.

Sorry I have been very much in the background lately. I base a lot of my action on the pace of the game, as I feel that looking at a section of the game where two or more players have a fast-paced discussion yields much more information than a large amount of "posts for the sake of posting". I've been gone since Tuesday, so again I seem to have missed the most important part.

I promise to have updated conclusions from a full reread on Saturday.

Question to tide everyone over until then: Why the relatively lax amount of suspicion on vollkan and me? I know that I am playing devil's advocate with
myself
at this point, but please humor and give an answer if you want.

I am trying to make time to do a full re-read but I literally do not have any time.

All I have to say right now is that I'm very uncomfortable with any drastic action at this point. I know everyone wants something to happen, because we're essentially penned in a box as we've lost powerful pro-town people and Day One discussion seems essentially useless.

We have to keep in mind that there are two among us that aren't even here, so I'm very hesitant to do much of anything until we get the full gamut of input that we need at this crucial point in the game.

Confirm: Not Voting

Mod edit
Votecount:
DeathSauce 4 (ryan, Miztef, VanDamien, Vollkan)
ryan 1 (DeathSauce)

Not voting 4: TopHat, Paradoxombie, Trustgossip, StallingChamp

With 9 alive it takes 5 votes to lynch.

I don't know why, but this game is extremely stressful for me to read. In the interests of not wanting to appear to be a giant ass and contradicting my earlier bemoanment at lack of replacements though, I'm going to stick this out. Will follow with a post that contains some game-relevant information.

This game is too dense at this point for me to write my usual semi-long posts, so my re-read conclusions might seem a bit lax.

I believe they both induce migraines, so... both.

Will try to scrap something together, but I just did a reread of another game and am a little mentally pooped.
