Exactly why OMG is off the table for today's lynch, Elias.

One of two things will happen tonight:

(A. He's town (be it power role or vanilla) and one of the mafias will kill him, knowing he's a power role.
(B. He's mafia, but the OTHER mafia kills him, thinking he's a power role.

Either way, lynching him doesn't do us much good, as he's dead anyways.

Does anybody see a situation where OMG survives the night, now?

I wish I would have known this before I signed up. This is completely different from normal mafia. It's a game of allegiances. Not only do I have to find scum, but I have to figure out which scum they are =/. It's possible that lynching the "wrong" scum could lead to a loss and I don't like that. Games should be about just catching scum.

That being said, I'm in it for the long haul. I'm not dropping. Just saying that I wish Livingod would have been a bit more explicit about the setup from the beginning.

My opinion of CES isn't that high, but he is one of the more experienced players. That being said, he's a much much better player than omg derf derf.

I was a bit suspicious of Sage day one for the two mafias comment (which may or may not be a scum tell in this situation... I'm not sure), but I went back and found this. I think Sage is trying to be too townie here. "I'm protecting omg to seem like I'm helping the town." He also accepted omg's claim of "generic power role" without reservation which is kind of troubling.

also, elias - i cant speak for anyone else but i lost a lot of interest in this game the second like 5 ppl decided to instalynch someone that claimed scum day 1. ive seen a lot of bad play on this site but that has to go down as the worst ever.

Nocmen, just telling us your agreements/disagreements with the statements posted might already help us evautaing your own alignment, and I guess you would be interested in convincing us that your alignment is town. However, even if you agree with everything being said here, I just can't imagine that our arguments are so perfect that they match exactly what you would be reasoning.

I do not understand yet why omg thinks that a roleclaim could be est for his character.

Even if the claim would protect him from being lynched, it also makes it much easier for the mafia to choose targets for their nightkills. Considering that, the only scenario I can imagine where claiming would be best for town at this point would be a cop with a guilty result, since that would eliminate one scum. If that is not the case, I would be curious wat another good reason for claiming now could be that outweighs the additional information for the mafias.

Although, my personal opinion is this game shouldn't have been a "normal" game. It's not really mafia. I wish I would have known that before I signed up.
