Mini 90 - Game Ended

Fear ripped through the town when the news hit: a quantity of explosives have disappeared from the local demolition plant. Further, a note appeared tacked to the Town Hall door. At first reading, it seemed the writer was threatening the entire town with explosions. After a quick reread, though, it became clear the writer only wanted to get rid of the council.

"Of course," a townsmen. "That's the best way for the mafia to take over the town. At least I'm safe. Sucks to be the council, though."

The rest of the town agreed with this reasoning and put the matter out of their minds. The council, however, were panicked, until one strong voice rang out.

"We can survive this. After reading this note, it seems clear the mafia are part of the council. Thus, all we have to do is get rid of one of us each day. By vote. Sooner or later, the mafia will be out of the council."

The rest of the council was taken aback. Get rid of? Does that mean kill? After a little murmering, they realized this was a good enough solution. They decided to start the next day, and returned home for a good night's rest.

The town wakes up, wondering what will happen. Many of the townsfolk are hoping the mafia really are just limiting themselves to the council, but fearing otherwise.

The council, for thier grim part, gather in the town hall. They straggle in, one by one. Soon, it becomes clear Stupid_ isn't coming. Fearing what may be holding him up, they decide to check his house.

Upon arriving, they find many of the town records scattered around the study. No one can make much sense of them. More exploration finds Stupid_ face down on his bedroom floor with a bullet lodged in the back of his head. It looks like the mafia have more tricks up their sleeves than explosives.

The town woke up suddenly as a loud blast reverberates throughout the town. Cautiously, the council investigates. They find flames consuming Thoth's house.

Quickly, fire fighters come and fight the fire. Soon, the fire is pushed back and the house is investigated. Not much could be determined from the wreckage except one gun. It was examined and found to be the type the mafia was known to use.

The council finally decides it didn't like a near silent member, and begrudged his vacation. He is quickly strung up and hanged.

The town investigates his house and finds books on bomb handling. "Could he really be our protection againt bombs," council members ask each other nervously.

The continue to his shed in the back. After breaking the lock, they peer inside, and see a large quantity of C-4. They've found the Mad Bomber.

bloojay - Mad Bomber

You are the Mad Bomber. You stole the explosives to get back at the council. You are not part of the mafia, and not real sure why everyone's talking about them.

Each night, you may do one of two actions: 1) Plant a bomb on someone, or 2) Detonate the planted bombs. Note this means multiple people may be killed, so long as you've planted bombs on them. Warning, the town does employ a bomb squad and will be disarming any bombs it finds.

Immune to mafia kills.

Carmine - Teacher

You are a Teacher. You're just a part of the council, and you wished you knew what you did to get this sort of attention. You want to get rid of the killers as quickly as possible, but all you can do is vote your suspicions.

Darkblade - Landscaper

You are the Landscaper; you own the local Landscaping Business. As such, you have access to all the council members yards. You've decided each day, you'll check out one person's yard, and try to find clues.

Each night, send a target. The next night, you'll receive information about the target.

Bullets would be found if he investigated the mafia or the sherrif. Footprints and locked shed found if he investigated the mad bomber, the bodyguard, or the bomb squad. Nothing would be found in anyone else is investigated.

just_nigel - Bodyguard

You are a Bodyguard. You decided to protect one member of the council each night. You think you can stop any mafia attack against whomever you're protecting.

You are the Bomb Squad. For years, you've been employed by the town with nothing much to do. Now, though, you can do something to protect the town.

Each night, you can search someone to check if they have a bomb planted on them. If they do, you will disarm it.

Morpheus - Banker

You are the Banker. You're just a part of the council, and you wished you knew what you did to get this sort of attention. You want to get rid of the killers as quickly as possible, but all you can do is vote your suspicions.

NanooktheWolf (replaced Smoke_Bandit) - Sherrif

You are the Sherrif.

Each night, you may target one person to stake out. You will see anyone who leaves or enters the house.

Quailman - Mafia

You and McSlasherton are the mafia. Neither of you stole the explosives, but you see an opportunity here; the council may be too confused and paniced to stop a take over.

Each night, tell me who's will be targeted and who's doing the tageting. The other mafia member will stay at home. You may communicate by PM during the night.

stupid_ - Local Historian

You are the Local Historian. You suspect the writer of the note may have a vendetta against the town council, and think it may be fournd in the town records.

Each night, you may check the town records of one person to see if that person has any grudges against the town.

For any pro-town role, the Historian would find records relating to their job. For the mafia, no records would be found. For the mad bomber, a large number of lawsuits would be found.

Talitha - Shop Owner

You are a Shop Owner. You're just a part of the council, and you wished you knew what you did to get this sort of attention. You want to get rid of the killers as quickly as possible, but all you can do is vote your suspicions.

I was hoping the bomber would've survived long enough to bomb multiple people in one night. Just think if four people exploded in one night. It looks like bloojay was just going to alternate between planting a bomb and detonating it, though.
