Random voting does serve some kind of purpose otherwise why would we do it? Voting for a non existent player does not. Not enough to jump all over you and lynch you for it, but not very useful either.

That said there isn't a whole lot of helpful things to go by as of yet.

Sorry guys, I'm here.

About the SL thing, I think that Falcone is trying to get day one going with some early analysis, but I get the feeling he might be reading too much into it. Sure could be a useful piece of information later in the game if a case happens to build against SL, but I don't think it's something to jump all over and lynch SL because of it. SL's reaction to Falcone's accusation doesn't really help his case, but OMGUS and getting pissy can point to scum or town in this situation.
