It seems as though Grakens unprotectable claim may have helped the town unlike some people see it. If he is not lying, then the scum have to be crazy not to kill him. If he is scum, he will be exposed by not dying. By claiming unprotectable, he has prevented the doc from wasting the protection, so therefore if the mafia do not shoot him, the doc has a better chance of protecting correctly since he is selecting from a smaller set of people.

Its all in the numbers. Lets say there are 3 scum (I have no idea but this is a typical number). We have gracken as unprotectable. We lynch someone today. That leaves 7 other people for the scum to target, so the chance of the doc working is 1/7, but if the doc had a chance to waste the protection it would be 1/8 chance of success. Make any more sense?

How about: what is the reasoning behind your thinking that I am scum?
you ask a lot of questions.....

what have you done to make me think you are innocent....
You ask questions too. Your last line should be a question.

And besides, it is day two, why are you still alive?

In order to see what post number a post really is, click on the little page icon in the upper left of the posts's head when you are viewing by person. Falcone's references to BJ'S (I assume) posts are 3=72, 7=89, and 1=107.

After doing a reread, two people seem scummy.

BJ almost jumps out, but that is just how he is. His constantly shifting accsuations and numerous, contentless posts would be damning to any other player. I do however, consider him confirmed to an extent.

The other person who I find suspicious is armlx. His last 4 posts seem scummy. People are calling him out to answer questions, yet he posts on something irrelevant for over a week. The next to last one was a little weird, disputing a claim that was backed up in earlier vote counts. I have no idea what point he is trying to make in the post before that one as all of his evidence seems highly circumstancial, given the variables he ignored (ie 46%, he was recruitable, etc). Prior to that is his post pairing Poriot and Falcone as a voting reason. None of it really seems to add up. He also completely ignored Green Crayons's suspicion of him, especially after he said he was waiting on him to vote.

lurkng, and being nowhere to be found during the falcone runup.
While the second part may be true, I doubt you can find many games where I did not lurk. While that does not excuse me, I can say that you also have untownsmanlike qualities to your playing style. Though name calling will get us nowhere (sure is fun though) your reasoning does seem at least a bit hypocritical, from my perspective.

Note before Dodgy responds: I have a way to confirm my role, so at least let me claim if he lies and says that I am scum and you decide to believe him.

Why? Because it is a supercop role when we already have a cop and nothing pointing to the scum being especially strong. We also now have a possible second doctor. Assuming that you are town, even in this seemingly endgame situation, it strikes me as odd that you would reveal the doctor. The claim seems too convenient.

BJ, was that many posts necessary?

Anyway, I'm the town vandal. I can write a message of up to 10 words to be posted in the opening post of the day. Warpdragon is spelt out in the second letter of each word of the message for day 2. (sWarms rAn, dRank, sPun aDditional oRange aArdvark's eGgs've nOrthern oNtario) I have to say, though, that I have no idea why I chose those words.
