I'll read and post later. CP is a good player, I'll leave his vote until I find a reason to move it. Skimmed C-Worl's WIFOM at the end of D2, and how he barely mentions ROTN & Jase is suspicious.

I started my read-through this evening, will finish tomorrow. Hopefully in the morning, afternoon at worst.

My biggest suspects (and remember, I'm still on D1) are Jase and TO. Can anyone tell me why they haven't been lynched?

Nothing against this approach to get into the game quickly but I do hope that you make your own image of the game by reading it yourself.

I fully intend to read the game myself.

Everything Mastin said about his meta is true to what I know, though I have seen less of his scum meta than I'd like and been wrong about him being scum more often than I'd care to admit. Need to do more research on his older games, or be scum with him.

I've been busy, UP, and procrastinating a bit. Reading and digesting 20 pages isn't a walk in the park. I'm doing a bit at a time and staying current. Summary at the end.

Crap, I forgot about the deadline. No offense was taken. I'm going to set aside time right now and finish reading. Not accustomed to deadlines actually being relevant on this site.

I'm going to take this in chunks of five pages or so, and try to finish it over the course of the day.

Pages 1-5

Most notable quote(s) & interpretation:

andrew94 wrote:
tarsonisocelot wrote:Good morning townies and mafia scum!
VOTE: [L] Unless you share your candy.

good morning serial killer
vote tarsonisocelot

what does your name mean anyway

Upon a second re-reading, I wish I'd been here to catch this. :/ Day one hunting of an SK is a big scumtell, especially from newbie scum like andrew (I think this is maybe his second or third game, first as scum). Even in jest...it betrays what their biggest concern is. This actually soft-clears TO in my book, overruling what I said before.

Individual living players:

Jase
: Creeping scumspicion. I wish I could put my finger on one thing that exemplifies WHY I find him suspicious, but it's dozens of little things scattered throughout his posts. Trying too hard while not accomplishing much of anything sums it up pretty well, actually.

Uncle Pain
: Despite a rocky start, seems to be genuinely scumhunting. Reaction hunting, then analysis. Post 71 is a good example, as is 91. Plays a bit reckless, even sloppy. I expect that from Town. Compare to the too-clean imaginality.

TarsonisOcelot
: Soft-cleared as above. Plays recklessly, but with purpose.

Me=Weird
: Tunneling, hard to read...inconclusive at this point.

Zdenek
: Buddies to Jase a bit too hard for being scum with Jase to be likely. Gut scum read...can't really explain why.

imaginality
: Considering Andrew's page 1 SK hunting, imaginality's following post can be read as a subtle hint to stop SK hunting and redirection into a different way to mislynch her. Otherwise, I have a fairly good Town read on him...which is in itself highly suspicious. I'm a paranoid player, and when I get a strong Town-read, it's almost always wrong. Town don't play that cleanly, but good scum do. Potential scumbuddy of Jase's. Look at 96...as soon as a chance to clear Jase comes up, he supports it, after which suspicion of Jase dies.

Setael's predecessors
: I have a thoroughly null read on all predecessors and their total of 15 posts. When I get to where Setael replaces in, I'll start her with a clean slate.

Mastin's predecessors
: Surprise Carcinogen's opening is very reminiscent of my previous experience with her. We thought she was scum then and unanimous-lynched her D1, she flipped Town. I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt for now and get a better read once things settle in.

Conclusions
: Having narrowed it down to 7 players and (probably) two scum remaining, I feel good about our odds. Jase needs to hang first, and my next choice is between Zdenek and imaginality, depending on flip. I'm pretty sure about 1-2 scum in that group (at this point).

I vote for the most likely scum based on information I have available to me. I don't trust your opinions.

My readthrough is going poorly. I should not have replaced into this game, I've had an enormous amount of work in the real world of late.

Which part of it? I'm pretty sure you're not referring to my real life obligations, unless...*frantically looks into the woods for stalkers*

For the record, I'm covered in dirt with blisters on my hands, taking a water break from burying cable for an office. Been doing it all week.

Working on it. Right now, I prefer a Zdenek lynch over a Mastin lynch.

I'd like a claim from Zdenek.

I based my vote on the information I had at the time I made it. Jase was the scummiest extant player in the first dozen or so pages. It is now somewhat obsolete, but it's doing no harm while I deliberate on who, or whether, to hammer.

Zdenek has been one of my top scumspects since replacing in. If he flip BG, we lynch Mastinscum.

Plus, I know Mastin. He'd have scrambled to find a different fakeclaim.

Short day, folks. I'm the cop (that breadcrumb was legit) and I have a guilty on Imaginality. CP was roleblocked the first two nights.

Before this gets asked about, I was trying to throw scum off. I guessed that they had figured out my role and blocked CP, and now that their blocker was dead, they'd shoot me. It looks like Mastin did his job though.

I've already stated that I thought he was TOO Townie on D1, and I use Mastin's theory on good cop play as a guide. Don't investigate strong reads, gather information on borderline, weak, and null reads.

Boom, headshot.

I never did read from page 6 to where I replaced in :D

Often, I find a quick primer on the game, a brief skim, the first few pages, and paying attention after entry to be a winning replacement strategy. I wrecked scum in Candy Zoo Mafia with the same strategy.

That's actually part of what led me to investigate. A complete black hole of suspicion..."confirmed Town" that get "confirmed" on D1 often aren't.

Lol. Sorry bro, chalk up another scum loss. I was only half serious with my Jase vote after people started going 'wtf' at me. Wanted to see who'd get the most bent out of shape and who'd quietly let me go.
