MINI 958: Just Another Mafia Problem

Once upon a time there was a town. In that town, one of the townies was surfing the internet and found to his dismay that a recent anonymous survey discovered 4/5 towns contained an evil organization bent on taking over and killing everyone. Further, all the towns that did were suspiciously similar to his own. When the townie brought this information forward, the town agreed something had to be done. So they set up a completely fair and incorruptible system, where they would vote to decide who was to be punished for being evil, until they got rid of the evil organization. All the townies unanimously agreed this was the best solution, and got to work on making a noose and stand, while discussing who they would hang that day.

12. Once a player has been lynched they are allowed a single 'bah' post with no game related content.

13. Once a lynch count has been reached, the game enters twilight. During twilight anyone except the lynched player may continue to speak until I post a death scene.

15. Day Phases will have a non retractable deadline of 3 real life weeks. Night Phases will have a non retractable deadline of 72 hours.

After a long day of discussion, you finally decide that TheButtonmen is evil, and must be hanged as punishment. So you form a mob, grab TheButtonmen, and drag him off to be hung. You take a freshly woven noose and put it around TheButtonmen’s neck, and finally perform the grim execution. Afterwards, you decide you might figure out something if you check out TheButtonmen’s house, and promptly investigate. To your dismay, however, you discover various tools of the medical practice, and a framed degree. Turns out that TheButtonmen wasn’t evil after all. He was, in fact, the town doctor.

You wake up and meet in the same place as the day before to continue your preventative measures against the evil organization bent on killing everyone. You quickly discover that one of your number is missing, Elias_the_thief. So, as a group, you all head off to his house to see what the problem is. Quickly your worst fears are realized. You find Elias_the_thief’s body, with seven bullet holes in it, in a room. Blood is all over the floor and walls. Your search of the house reveals nothing unusual or significant. Looks like Elias_the_thief was just an average member of the town. More determined than ever, you quickly decide to find the evil people in the most rational manner that comes to mind: having a discussion about who you think are evil and voting on it.

So, you begin to discuss who is evil. And it’s pretty obvious. Within a few moments of discussion, it is unanimously decided that ConfidAnon is evil. Since you are all by now adept at executing people, the hanging of ConfidAnon goes equally quickly. You all decide to investigate his house, confident in finding clues to the evil conspiracy that threatens your town. So you, as a group, enter his residence and are collectively disappointed. You all wake up after the excessively long night feeling quite refreshed. Well, almost all of you. A quick head count reveals Shotty to the Body to be absent. Fearing the worst, you all go to Shotty to the Body’s place of residence to see if you can’t discover the reason he was missing. Quickly discovering the door to be ulocked, Shott to the Body’s body is discovered with several bullet holes just inside. Upon closer examination of the residence, Shotty to the Body is shown to be a quite unextradordinary member of your town. Looks like he was just another resident. You resort to your daily discussion, undeterred by recent developments, and ready to punish the evil in your midst

Having been quite satisfied with the amount of time on yesterday’s hunting, you attempted, and succeeded, in similar fashion today. It was completely elementary that Super Smash Bros. Fan was evil, and so, you executed him as fast as you could. You hurried off to his house to discover the proof of that which had been decided true by democracy. However, Super Smash Bros. Fan’s home turns out to be quite ordinary. No signs of evil conspiring exist in his home at all. He was just another regular town member. As you all head home, a slightly ominous feeling hangs over the town.

Interestingly, it is dictated by democracy that no lynch will occur today, and you all head off to bed. The next morning, JDodge’s body lies next to hasdgfas’s, and it is democratically decided that Shattered Viewpoint must be lynched. After the deed, Super Awesome Mega Pimp! is suddenly shot dead.
