Is wrong when she said that self voting doesn''t help anyone. Actually, it does help with reaction hunting. Usually the people to attack a person in the RVS stage for voting themselves are scum strawmanning a case. Plus, I always saw the RVS as a stage when you could always vote for whoever you wanted without someone jumping down your throat. OMG [PLAYERNAME] VOTED DURING THE RVS, THEY MUST BE SCUM!

As for Alex's meta giving you a headache, clearly you've never played with Mastin or Haylen. The self vote(d) and fakeclaimed all the time during the RVS. It worked for them, although one of them never got policy lynched over it

In your next post, you mention how Lacey's meta doesn't seem very successful to you. How is this relevant? And will you be treating her differently this game after seeing her games?

Misreps or misinterprets Lacey when he says that she thinks they are in lylo already. Clearly Lacey was going on about mafia mathematics, it is useful to know how many mislynches we are from lylo because the town are always better off when there is an odd number of players. This helps to prevent mylo situations in which the mafia hold the cards with what they do during the night. The night after mylo, they could either no kill and go back to mylo and force the town to kill and possibly mislynch. Or they could kill and go back to lylo. Lylo = good for town. mylo = good for scum. If you see what I mean there.

Reading my PBPA, you will see that I found Jasper the scummiet and that i why I am voting for him at the moment. When i do the ret of my iso reading i might decide someone ele is suspicious too, and weigh up the evidence of them being scum or town and vote for the one who is the most scummy.

When i read through a game, what i do is actually read threw the posts fairly fast and comment on what i've seen and picked up on. Later i do a more imdepth read, and that's where my mega post come in!

Heh. Lacey, that's how I always do PBPA's, because I'm Dyspraxic, I need to keep some logical order to things. So it's either player order or Alphabetical Order and if I go down the player list it helps me make sure I don't miss anyone.

No matter what I'm going to say, I probably screwed up so much already that it wouldn't help me. But when I flip town remember who were pushing for my lynch (before everyone did, that is). Maybe the only good thing that will come out of my lynch is a better chance at finding the filthy scum that jumped onto my wagon.

My actions during the RVS make me a prime target for scum. It always has done. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the people on that wagon were scum. Basically, i was doing something controversial to make the game light hearted for me, and because by delibrately doing something controversial, it makes you the most likely Day One lynch mainly because the scum push for your lynch and tthen they wont be blamed for it. So I've just got to look for the person pushing my lynch the hardest at that time and I've got scum.

I am keeping my eye on those players because of how they reacted to my selfvoting What is intriguing though is that Sotty came across my RVS shananigans in the first Zachtown game and attacked me for them here. As for forgetting that Sotty has been nightkilled, I did the same in an earlier game too. I replaced in, checked who was dead in the OP and the started reading the game. I began making a really good case against this person, seriously, it was awesome and infalliable. Then, I got the kills that night and it turns out he died and flipped town. I'd spent 2 hours making that case. It was really demotivational :/

You have no idea how fucking confused I am over the amount of new names there are in this game now, who replaced in, who replaced out, who died, who got lynched. Damnit.

I am 99% sure that at least one scum was on my wagon. As I said, it would be scum suicide to have more than one of them on it. And I've just remembered that DRK didn't bandwagon me when I selfvoted and fakeclaimed when he was scum in Desert Mafia, it's kinda suspicious that he suggested that I must be lynched here though for doing exactly the same thing.

Why Jason is Scum.

The link DRK posted was extremely useful. It shows that he was lying about his scum meta in this game, Lying is never a good thing for the town as it prevents useful information being gained and goes completely against the towns wincon. It also shows that he is well aware of his meta so anything he says basically that starts with 'As town I' or 'As scum I' can't be trusted. I don't actually find people pointing to their meta as scummy, but I do find it scummy when they lie about there meta and it is contradicted by something someone else says.

He also voted for Jasper during the RVS. I've found that scum often try to distance themselves from each other early on in games by voting for their scumbuddy during the RVS. It shows that they are blatantly willing to vote for the person in a very much 'in your face' way. I find it very suspicious that by putting heavy fingers of suspicion on 3 people, one of whom he doesn't give reasons for, another he says could possibly be scum and the other he said basically outted as scum. He's affectively treating them the same by not voting for Jasper, who he said

. To me this feels like he is distancing himself from Jasper by mentioning that he has outted himself as scum, but is protecting him from being lynched by not voting for him. It's quite inconsistant, if that's the right word to describe it.

The way he was half heartedly attacking Maemuki and then suddenly decides that she needs replacing is quite suspicious to me too. Sort of like he wants to get his distancing in there before she gets replaced.

Just realised since there is 6 of us left, we have to have 2 scumteams otherwise we would have lost by now...

2 town, one of whom is me.

If we lynch today, in this situation, we have a 2/3 (66%) chance of hitting scum. 1/3 (33%) chance of hitting town. Those are pretty good odds compared to other games i've came across.

Btw, I'm pretty sure C.C is the last townie, if this is the case. I breadcrumbed my role earlier and he had the chance to kill me during the night if he was scum.

Yeah. Clever, gotta say. And risky, considering I wasn't really town-looking to begin with. Although I couldn't really relate this breadcrumb to any role I can think of, I certainly did get the message. You used some kind of translator, or you had someone to actually translate this for you?

I've been teaching myself other languages for a while now. Learnt French and Spanish at school, know how to read and translate some latin, dutch, italian, german, japanese, portugese and polish. Either by reading books, talking to people on MS or through my co-workers (half of whom are portugese, a quatre of which a polish).

Couldn't translate 'Town' very well, though. So I used 'City' instead >.<

I dunno why I did it, I just had a gut feeling that you might be town :/ and I hoped that if I was killed, the town would be smart enough to look through my meta and see how I have breadcrumbed in the past.
