Elliscum is performing some blatant egging.Ellibereth wrote:pman, Eek scumpair is performing some blatant distancing.
It depends.leaf wrote:Why would that be, My Milked Eek? Do you regard a willingness to jump on such bandwagons as a towntell or a scumtell?
And it's not only about jumping on the wagon.Eek!-

You don't. Them being scum is usually reason enough.Ellibereth wrote:
Why do you need a reason to vote scum?Leafsnail wrote:I'm not defending anyone, ConfidAnon.
Ellibereth - care to supply any reasons?
However, this does not answer the question of why you think pman or myself are scum. As you said yourself. "Not semi-random. Not random."
Really now?elli wrote:Because they're scum, durrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
This kind of persistence in your suspicions is giving me the feeling you're trying to disguise another reason to bandwagon either of us with inane statements like this one.Eek!-

Didn't think you'd give up on the joke this fast. I didn't even vote you yet.Ellibereth wrote:Eeky, You know I'm just screwing around for the hell of it.
Pman, London Bridge is Failling Down works.
That's a rather silly policy and I'm tempted to random vote.thesp wrote:I'm so ashamed that people are random voting in this game, especially from some people who were in the last game with me. It's embarassing.
RVS is over, as of now. If anyone "random" votes, I will stab them in the eye. Then I will vote for them and I may not leave from my vote for the day until they are lynched from the neck.
It depends on how scummy my partner, Thesp, will be.thesp wrote:My Milked Eek, how scummy do you think you'll be this game?
"Ellibereth wrote:
I don't, I was joking.Oman wrote:Elli, why do you think that they're scum? This is a serious question here, I won't be happy with a jokey response.
Thesp: I always find happiness in Role PMs, because I always think "this is a chance to play this role to the best of my ability!" On this one I was even happier because its a chance to be against you Thespscum! Also Thesp, very upset to not see you asking yourself the hard questions! Not random."
Not semi-random
Screw the pman wagon attempt, elli is better.Unvote. Vote: ElliEek!-

Why do you want to know?Leafsnail wrote:
Uh... actually, looking at the OP, rule 6 implies that even the mafia members cannot communicate with each other at all.Thesp wrote:Leafsnail, can you PM your scumbuddies and let them know we've started?Mod: Can the mafia members talk to each other? If so, how?Eek!-

lol, sorry, it's just that the name "elli" seems female.Ellibereth wrote:Also: I'm a boy damnit.
There are several points to pursuing that "joke".elli wrote:I was joking around for the hell of it. I stopped because there was really no point in continuing it and I didn't feel like continuing it. Anyone who took it seriously is crazy.Eek!-

Good question.Leafsnail wrote:Ellibereth - why did you keep pursuing it if you weren't trying to get anything out of it?
That is, if he kept pursuing the joke.
Not because I am the subject of your silly wagon attempt: but what are your views on the other players?CrashTextDummie wrote:Ellibereth, your vote would serve the town better if it were on My Milked Eek.Eek!-

You apparently noted that Jase hasn't posted yet, but yet, somehow, fail to see that ctd has been doing nothing, thesp only asked random questions in order to avoid the random voting stage and sotty is who again?Leafsnail wrote:It was just stuff I had noticed, not everyone.
Also, Ellibereth, you've ignored my question again.
Yes, you're scum with elli.mme wrote:My Milked Eek - You haven't really done much except attack Ellibereth and agree with other people. Do you have any other views?Eek!-

How about the fact that you're willing to stick a day 1 vote onto someone who randomly votes, instead of voting someone you think is scum? But, policy lynches/votes are, in general, silly.Thesp wrote:
What's silly about it?My Milked Eek wrote:That's a rather silly policy and I'm tempted to random vote.
In this case, I'd say it's more indicative of scum than of town, hence my vote.thesp wrote:How likely would town have had the reaction you describe?
It's been one real life day, seriously.Ellibereth wrote:Mod, replace Jase pleaseEek!-

I'm not saying you should have posted a full, heads-on analysis on everyone, but it was and still is noteworthy that you note Jase for not having posted, while ignoring the people I brought up.Leafsnail wrote:Huh? I said I was posting my suspicions, not writing an essay on everyone. Perhaps if you stopped slanging me for leaving off a few people and actually posted some of your own analyisis the discussion would have developed more.
And if you think that that was an attack or "slanging" (whatever that may mean), then I'm perceiving you to be a bit defensive here. And your counterattack on me here of "ignoring pretty much everyone except [leaf] and Elli" isn't faring all too well either.
If only everyone had the same observational skills as you.leaf wrote:Jase - Still hasn't posted. We can probably expect a replacement for him at this rate.
It is interesting how pman calls you an "innocent townie" and that you have a town read on him.leaf wrote:pman5595 - Seems to be making an effort to find scum, rather than dumping a vote on the latest bandwagon. Mostly town reads off him at the moment.
Who's calling it a policy lynch? In fact there aren't any policy votes in this game as far as I'm aware of.leaf wrote:Ellibereth - Frustratingly unhelpful, but that doesn't make him scum, and I'm not into policy lynches. Something about him reminds me of useless town, but I'm not entirely sure yet.
I don't understand how you see him playing the game. All he's doing is opposing the rvs and asking silly questions. The question(s) he asked that would appear to be relevant are inane and useless to the game.leaf wrote:Thesp - Making a definate effort to scumhunt and post suspicions. Not definate town, but he at least answers my questions and plays the game.
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13040leaf wrote:Oman - Your meta-grounds for voting seem fairly weak. Is his behaviour extremely different in this game?
See for yourself. It's a game with most of us, so it should provide an interesting read.Eek!-

I fail to see how you think not posting after 1 real life day (jase) is worse than posting silly attempts at a wagon (ctd).Leafsnail wrote:Well, he had actually not made a single post, so I decided to post him in particular.
I'm not ignoring everyone else, lol. Should I really address everyone once every 10 posts? If I don't address you or don't note anything about you, it's that your behavior doesn't ring any scumdar of mine. I don't believe calling other players town-like is all that helpful.leaf wrote:But you are. It's easy enough to criticize someone for leaving a couple of people off his list, and a lot harder to try and look at everyone yourself.
It was a note for later reference. I find elli more worthy of my vote than you are. Hence it staying where it is.leaf wrote:This is an idle comment intended to make me look more scummy. If you were serious, you'd vote or ask me a followup question.
And I quote: "leaf wrote:I'm not saying it is a policy lynch - just that I'm not going to vote Ellibereth just for being unhelpful.Ellibereth - Frustratingly unhelpful, but that doesn't make him scum, and I'm not into policy lynches"
And besides, the two players voting him are not doing it for the unhelpfulness, it's for entirely different reasons. In fact, the unhelpfulness actually came after the votes.
Are you reading the thread?
I have, are you reading the thread?leaf wrote:It got some discussion going, and at the very least, forced a post from every player who's actually here. Although, if you have a problem with his playstyle, why aren't you addressing your qualms to him?
And the only discussion it got going is theorytalk, which isn't favorable and will be moved to MD later as someone (ca?) suggested.
And do you find the answers thesp's questions got to be helpful to the game or not?Eek!-

I wasn't the one who wanted to call Jase out on his lurking. That was you.
I do not find any of the things I pointed out you should have pointed out to be worthy of my vote more than elli currently is, but I found it odd that you'd point at Jase and not at the others, while imo, the other things are worse than what Jase was doing, which was not posting for one real life day.Eek!-

That's just sad. For the both of us.Wickedestjr wrote:
Yeah. The one where town had a huge advantage and I got lynched day 1. (if it hadn't been for the town's advantage, it would have been another loss).MME wrote:Also, not on topic, but, Wicked, is that one game you've won as town the one I lost as mafia? ;_;
For you, because you would have lost again.
And for me, because your only win is against me.Eek!-

Go on, spill the beans.CrashTextDummie wrote:I still consider him to be somewhat suspect based on that (and some other things), but it's not the strongest suspicion in the world.
And I'm not entirely unavailable for an indeterminate amount of time. It's just that I on one day during the next two-three weeks could easily drop out for a few days, depending on the severity of the real life issue at hand.Eek!-

Some feedback:
Thanks for understanding my situation back there. I wouldn't have mind being replaced, but I understand you already had to find two other replacements at the time. I just feel a bit off because I made you wait for me to play and then I got nightkilled without repaying you for your patience.
I think you did great and my only remark would be about activity rules I guess.Eek!
