I'll be giving some real analysis later on. I'm up to about page 6/7, but it's now half past midnight. I'll leave you with the post I had so far, and a note that says I've now read the dead as well (which I deliberately didn't do to start with, as I think it helps to get a better insight into the reasons for a lynch and a better evaluation of its worth. But curiosity got the better of me, haha.)

Okay, this post is coming in two parts. The first is vaguely stream of consciousness, the second is my thoughts all neatly summarised.

First off, I bloody love friends and enemies. Woooh masons. Confirmed innocence is beastly.

first blips on the scumdar are coming from Kise. Although in general I'm not a fan of traps, I do think they're normally done by townies... but I dunno, something makes me wince in his post againt Ekim.

Incidentally, the early pressure on DDD was meh.

You aren't going to leave me this time so KMD can trick the stupid replacement, are you?

Interesting. I gotta admit, I'm a fan of ploys like the one DDD pulled. Lots of juicy info coming out there. Possible kise-raivann connection. Santos follows oddly, igmeoh. Sho's seems the least out of place. Incidentally, I agree about exalt. It's as if he's simply trying to avoid the words, which is basically playing semantics, and I count playing semantics to try and throw off an attack as scummy. So that whole page 5 makes me warm and fuzzy.

I have a growing list of town reads, which I dont feel like sharing just now.

I'm told by the mod that we have an activity crisis. Buck it up people! Might be a too many scum not enough townies problem, in which case you really need to start tlaking if you're town.

As for pulling my weight, I've just neglected to read rules in every game I play. This accounts for my problems as a mafia player. I'm learning.

I thought there was a cop in this game. Now I'm just not liking the use of meta DDD used to prove Raivann simply on a chance of 50/50, as it appears the meta is exemplary of a null-tell, IMO.

I can't believe this got so little attention! Santos follows DDD because he thinks he's claiming cop. DDD reveals his case. Zazier questions Santos about the case and Santos says he likes it. Then all of a sudden Santos unvotes? Is Santos only pretending t read the thread? Cause I count that as pretty scummy. Especially the way he suddenly turns on ZazieR after this. (sidenote: wasn't santos lynched day 2? Must go check again.)

Interesting. Sho's posting starts off strong and then tails off. When I used to do a lot of IRC mafia, that was a strong indication of scumminess there. I'm not sure about it in forum mafia, though I can think of at least one case of it happening in my own play as scum. So I'm counting this as a weak scumtell for now.

Interesting. My personal preference on the masons claiming would be that if one does, he should have left breadcrumbs in his posts for the others to confirm themselves with. Risky, of course, in that scum might pick the breadcrumbs, but if cleverly done allows for a confirmed innocent sans the knowledge that the second one will die immediately. And of course standard spiel about how wrong exalt was. Looked like newbiness rather than scumminess so I'm not really a fan of the lynch.

Although I agree with the other reasons forf lynching him. It jsut seems like he became somehting of a soft target after the mason thing. Typical stupid but not scummy play that scum love to attack.


I stopped doing a play b play kinda thing at that point because I was getting pretty stuck in a rut with my reads. Basically, I think Sho, Santos and form the last pages or so Kise are scum. OTOH, I don't really see the santos/sho recent spat as bussing. It feeels... well, a little bit too casual. Like they don't really care enough. I'm really not certain who's highest on my scumdar, so we'll go with the biggest wagon and

I want some thoughts about the thoughts I laid out. I regret hammering solely for that reason. OTOH, deadline was approaching pretty quickly anyway.

As a side note, long nights are a great way to drain interest. I'm also a little worried that three days in only 3 of the players have said anything at all.

Am I assuming correctly that you're ruling out Santos + Shanba because of Santos vs. Zazie?

@Shanba: I'm too lazy to provide a review of all your posting. But if you have specific questions, I'd be happy to oblige.

You're too lazy to read the only things I have posted in this game so far, and the only things you can possibly judge me on? It's not bleeding wonder this game is dying a slow and painfully unproductive death (though slow nights don't help either.) Put some bloody effort in. I read this whole damn game for you.

3 days for a Night is fairly standard, Shanba.

Three days is not too bad, but it's still on the long side, imo. Especially given the setup and given the point we had reached: there's no way scm can have needed three whole days to discuss stuff.

Anyway, yeah. This was a p. boring game to replace into.

I kind of feel bad for Shanba replacing in and almost immediately losing through pretty much no fault of his own.

To be fair, I was on completely the wrong track anyway, haha.
