The Rules: (stolen/modified from Xyl)

1.) Votes must be
bolded
and at the start of a line. If I don’t see it, I wont count it. :P
2.) Unvoting is nice, but not necessary.
3.) Once a majority is reached, that person is lynched.
4.) If there is no majority at deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
5.) Day 1 will have an approximated deadline based on when the game starts – it will be no less than a week. All following days will have a deadline on Thursday, 10:30 PST.
6.) Nights will have 48 hours maximum. Any night actions not submitted will simply not happen – the thread will ALWAYS be open by Saturday, 10:30 PST following a deadline lynch.
7.) Do not talk about this game outside the thread unless your role allows you to.
8.) When you die, you are dead. Stay that way.
9.) Do not edit posts. Do not use invisible text. Do not use small text.
10.) Do not quote any communication from the mod (that includes PMs) in the game thread.
11.) If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let me know. See rule 12.
12.) If you do not post for a full deadline game day you will be modkilled. Further, you will be blacklisted from any future games I run.
13.) If you notice mistakes aside from the vote count, PM me. Bold notification about vote count issues in the thread.
14.) Play to win.
15.) Play with the spirit of the game in mind.
15.a.) This means ASK before you do something you think I might question. Questions are good. Modkills are bad. See rule 12.

Your little village has been a peaceful place. Beautiful mountains, lush forests, bountiful plains. No one goes hungry and even the poorest of folk have a roof over their heads at night. People starting coming in from poorer places in droves.

At least, until the murders started. Night after night, bodies found ripped to shreds...if there was any bodies to be found at all.

The trickle of people coming in stopped. And then quickly became a flood of people escaping for their lives.

Until only you were left. It lies on you to be the salvation of your village. Or its destruction.

From a distance things appear even worse. There are TWO corpses lying together in an embrace that holds strong even after death claimed them.

However, looking closer, you notice something very, very strange:

Well I learned a few things from my second modding:

1.) Clarify my PM's. I wasn't clear on who was targettable.
2.) Clarify my flavor. I apologize to Zilla specifically. I need to make it more obvious a RB is a RB and a Goon is a Goon. I know its a normal but I wanted a LITTLE werewolf flavor afterall.
3.) I got a little lax on votecounts (IMO).
4.) Prepare kill flavor early. It helps. :P

Aside from that, my personal favorite moments this game:

1.) Porken's shot on Afat. I wasn't expecting that.
2.) Zilla, ohh dear Zilla:
--- Not saying she had a role name.
--- Claiming doc instead of jailer. :P
3.) The fact I assumed night 1 would be Porkens-fest and NO ONE targeted him. Just blew my mind.
4.) KMD trying to kill Camn, failing and then doing it right - for the loss.

All in all I'd mark this down as a success. I'm still a baby mod though and as per usual love comments. Please let me know what you think!

I thought you did a good job with the vote counts and the in-thread stuff -- it felt like an accurate vote count was there for all the players to see at least once every few pages. I think the dayvig role was pretty cool -- a lot of players seem to talk about it on MD and always seem to cite it as a role they'd like to some day have but you don't really see too many mods incorporating them into games, oddly enough. So kudos to you for that.

I'm not sure how I feel about a self-protecting Jailkeeper -- seems like an extremely strong role, especially if the player in question is looked at as practically confirmed by damn near everyone in the game.

Balance-wise I'd say this game looks like it was slightly town-favoring, though I guess the quick deadlines were meant to off-set that. And lol @ cross-kills.

I'll give a little insight into my modding brain:

I dont think it was unbalanced, HOWEVER, it was (as my games tend to be) swingy as all getout. Town, via luck and skill, just managed to keep the swing in their direction:

1.) Porkens shot the Governor day 1 (the Governor had me worried because, if alive, chances are high it is an instant-win for scum in lylo)
2.) Llama never gave the scum an invention. This is really important as two of those abilities (dayvig, unblockable) really could have put a kink in things.
3.) Zilla didn't jail Porkens, removing his dayvig for a day.
4.) The scum messed with the scum more than they did the town with their night actions.

If any of those had went differently I think we would have seen a drastically different game.

I AM kind of surprised the scum didn't just RB/Kill Zilla (well, the group that could do that).

All in all a very well played game though. :)
