2. This game is a Closed setup, but is a Day Start now.
3. Votes should be in the format

4. A lynch requires a majority of the vote. In situations with even numbers of players, the majority required will be rounded up.

The inhabitants of Salernitano quickly reach a decision - Atticus.Finch had been pretending to have speech impediments all day, and God himself had had to get off the toilet to deal with it.
After they hung him, they broke into his house, and found a gun. They were all cheering when Simpor also pointed out the "Zombie/Mafia Survival 101 Handbook", and the tinned peaches in vast stacks. Seems Atticus was just a harmless old coot hoping to get through this mess, at any cost.

As the townsfolk awoke, they one by one wandered down to the town square, rubbing sleep out of their eyes and cursing vaguely at the disturbances of the night before - several screams had been heard, as well as cars screeching through the streets.
After a brief head-count, it was found that Simpor and Trumpet of Doom were missing. Simpor's house was found locked, and it took 3 townsfolk to smash the door down. Dressed in sharp suit, and holding a Beretta, Simpor sat slackly in his chair, eyes staring. A bullet had been placed with almost geometric precision between his eyes.
Trumpet of Doom's death had been much less careful. He was found to have taken almost 30 shots to the chest, head and pelvis, and a small black ribbon with a white M was found amongst the bloody wreckage of an innocent.

The day seemed to go a lot quicker. Porkens pointed the finger at PhilyEc... and so did Phily. He even helped the town put the noose around his neck.

The townsfolk awoke to a paeceful, bright spring morning.
They congregated in the town square, and found that, somewhat improbably, no-one had died at all last night. They all said five Hail Mary's, then got back to deciding who to murder between them.

The town wasn't

quite

as fast to act as they had been the previous day, but a consensus was still reached fairly early. After a little indecision, the group decided to hang Ztife up. Seraphim wanted to hang him by his guts, but the rest decided there was enough blood on their cobbled streets, and did things conventionally.
After they cut Ztife's body down, then went through his pockets, and found a Beretta revolver, and a receipt from the local laundrette for the removal of blood from 1 sharp suit.

As day dawned, the town awoke to cheering from Seraphim's home. The various members of the town ran as fast as their stubby legs would carry them, and burst in through the door to see Juls and Porkens dancing a merry jig over Seraphim's body, his angelic visage only marred by the bullet placed so methodically between his eyes. He wore a sharp, black suit, and in his cold dead hand, a Beretta rested, finger curled tightly around the trigger.
"What the fuck happened here, guys?" yelled sordros.
"It's over! We got the last one, look, here, his diary proves it all!"
The town jumped on Porkens in a mass hug, only to jump off quickly again as he screamed. "Fucking hell, watch the bullet wounds, guys!" If Juls hadn't acted so swiftly, one less townie would have made it to the party.
ThAdmiral would have been invited too... but he was busy shacking up in Atticus' house with some peaches and soft-porn. Figures.

Who are you? You don't know. But you have an odd natural aptitude for stepping into a dead man's shoes. At any point, you may take on the role of ANY dead player, whatever their alignment. Until you do so, you win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Atticus.Finch: You are a Paranoid Gun Owner/Survivor.
Anyone who attempts to interact with you in any way will die, and you will survive. You win if, and only if, you are alive at the end of the game.

Juls: You are a Doctor. I don't know enough Italian to translate it, but I do know that you can pick one person a night to protect from any ill-harm that may befall them. You MAY pick yourself if you wish. You win when the town wins, and lose when the town loses.

Porkens: You are a Compulsive Vigilante.
You like to kill, man. You like to kill. Gotta kill them Mafia guys, yeah, yeah. Every night, you MUST pick one person to shoot. Failure to do so will result in your turning your gun on yourself.
You win when no-one with an anti-town win condition is alive.

Simpor and Ztife: You are a Mafioso. With your brothers, alexhans and Ztife, you intend to turn Salernitano into a thriving Mafia community. After pruning the inhabitants back a bit. You may converse via PM with them at night, and together submit 1 kill a night.

Yeah, this is actually the fastest Mini I've ever seen on this site - Porkens' Normalcy is running 10-day per day and 2-day per night deadlines, and that's lasting longer than this has. I might have to keep this in my Watched Topics to remember it when Scummies nominations come around for Porkens as Vig.

The modkill was, I think, slight communication problem. I was drunk, didn't have the rolelist to hand, and assumed Archon was scum. When he asked "can I tell people about this" I assumed he meant "can I tell scumbuddies about this?". In fairness, though, it did slightly break the game by him revealing that, and the town didn't really lose out a huge about because of it.
