If anyone DARES so much as mention the Jeep doc tell, I'm going to shoot them.

I think that was more just a vote than a method of discouragement.

Yeah, N86 rules. ;)

Vote Machine
Because I like can, mmkay?

I would say each game varies on the mod. Most games probably have 3 mafia or 2 maf and 1 SK, although 4 baddies or multiple SKs are never out of the question. I think Maximus would be a mod striving for the more creative than tradition, but then again this is his first modding game. Either way, I'm pretty much done discussing the set up until we get some information.

Herbal pills don't sound medieval, although I'm no expert in Medieval medicine. I have to admit, the whole thing does sound like an attempted kill and doc protect. I'm curious of the torn pieces of paper and horses about, but it's probably just flavor.

I think we can pretty safely assume that there's only one killing group (besides, perhaps a vigilante). I can't imagine any mafia/serial killer wouldn't have gotten a pick in before the deadline, as everyone confirmed pretty quickly. And working out some odds..
I won't quote your whole thing, but I think that's pretty interesting. You haven't taken into account role-blockers, or the scum may not have wanted to kill day 1 (although that's probably crap).

Medieval Cow wrote:Of course, those odds change if you factor in something like them being unlikely to kill/protect a new player/someone who's been killed first in a couple games recently.
I have never seen this and I honestly doubt its existence. But I like the way you think.

If "a couple" townspeople weren't supposed to wake up, that rather implies that more than one killing group was thwarted, right? So.. yeah. If that's meant as a hint, well, I guess 1 chance in 144 would still mean there's a chance, eh?
</idle speculation>
Even with a doc and a sucessful roleblock I doubt that's the possibility. I'd say we're looking for a group of 3, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were different.

Maximus: A tip:

Stop. If you think anything is certain in mafia, think again. I agree, there
probably
is one killing group, but I'd take the 1 in 9 chance any day over other things I've seen.

Iammars: asking the mod what his policy on roleblocking will prove fruitless; it's hardly fair for the mod to interfere and of course, it ruins the magic. It's at his discresion if the roleblocker who blocks one mafia blocks them all, if the RB blocks a godfather he blocks all the mafia, if the RB blocked the correct member, or if there's a roleblocker at all.

Arsonist is a little farfetched, especially for a mini of this nature. So are extra lives and the like. This is a mini regular, meaning basic roles.

I think odds are helpful as long as they don't clutter and become the main focus or people are bandwagoned just because 'it's mathematical probable they are scum.'

And the jeep tell if kind of right. I'm sure Maximus knows it all too well, seeing it pretty much got him lynched in Siamese Twin mafia. Anyway, it is the first person to congradulate the doctor is scum, or at least not the doctor. I'd have to double check, but I think that's what it means. Anyway, I think it's pointless and unfair, seeing how it was used to destroy Maximus, and I am vehemently against its use, therefore that's why I'd shoot someone if they mentioned it.

:P And you have a point, Soylent Green, but I'm not going to shoot myself.

Regarding IS: He's just kind of like that...it doesn't mean he's pro-town or scum; he's kind of like a parrot that squawks obsenities that the owners have gotten used to but people unaware of its presence might be startled by.

I've never seen statistics like this outside the mafia discussion forum, and I've been playing for months. I disagree with the helpfulness, and I think some people are assuming that the people who like the statistics put thier entire faith in it. That's not true. That's just Iammars. And he pretty much posted stuff that was already posted. Speaking of which,

Unvote, Vote Iammars

A little more pressure can't hurt...but any more would just be plain suspicious.

I'm saying that with 4 votes, someone's less likely to talk than with 5. 1 minus lynch is just plain stupid for a town. I don't even know where you got me placing a townie or scum vote...it was all about the numbers. Capice?

K. Different color blood. I'm under the impression we all bleed the same red, so I'm confuddled. Although by the way 'it wasn't nocited quickly," I'm strictly hypothesizing that one may be dryer and I'd think that'd make it darker. So yeah.

I'm curious about the whole War Hero thing though. It's hard without open roles. I think this is my first game without role revelation. But by the way he says clues, I'm guessing he's compensating us.

Although him saying ...or was it? and ...or not? does not give me faith that that's the case.

The ink gave me an idea. I'm thinking the war hero brought the alchemist's blood with all the chemicals or whatever the alchemist had on him. The different color was on the right hand, right? Murder weapon hand...

IS, do you feel like giving a reason or should I just not say anything about it whenver I see you vote?
