So no. I am a vannilla town. Flavor leaf hates claims day one and I fully agree. I fully believe town wins with less claims. But I came into this expecting flavor leaf to push me. I understood the kind of thing he was going to launch on me. The game I read he was vanilla. So new rules.

For what it's worth, I think Mikhai is town with a really weird playstyle, and personally, I dont think they really understand how to play Mafia.

Likewise Flavour is an very experienced mafia player and in the psychology of players in games of mafia, i think they know that everyone get's hesitant when a player offers themselves freely up as the elimination. Because they think "oh it must be town, because scum worries about self-preservation" and thus they get the unsaid result that they really want from their supposedly non-selfpreserving actions.

So, I did a brief skim of their meta, and my general impression of them is they're more likely to be detached from the gamestate as mafia > town. I kind of want to say they're in their wolf meta right now based on a brief meta check? Idunno can u like verify this.

And if that’s the case, I don’t believe this game goes with the both of us in it long enough to be able to truly find each other as town, so I’m okay not pushing you because of that.

This is to explain my Alisae read without really wanting to push.

That being said, Alisae/Sakura/Jason is an interesting trio that I had been feeling energy from, and I don’t think that’s pure ever this game.

Jason feels kind of compromisey, but I think their fade is likely to go through if we wanted it to, which is the only defense on that slot I can give.

Nonetheless, I don’t love how the pressure starts to go that way.

I didn’t vibe with the Dunn wagon either.

That’s how I met Something_Smart.

We were scum together. It was a Sunday. I pick up my role PM, and in the Scum PT, I see this guy with a Saturn for a profile picture go “I think I’m gonna claim Miller first post.”

I look at the game thread, and what do you know, a Miller claim first page.

Twenty pages later, the talks of there’s a Miller with no cop emerge! Let’s kill the Miller.

I claim Odd-Night Cop, a go to of mine to fake claim, and the rest…is history. One by one we take down the entire town, and then use our third partner to neighborize one townie.

We’re in 4-3 Elo, 3 of the townies now that we’re the scum team, but that one neighborized pocket we got wins us the game.

Bows.

This set off an era of fake Mason claims for the next year. Players like myself needed to get a Miller fake claims victory.

I did it, then Tchill did it.

While we were not as bold as Something Smart to do it on the first page, it was a success nonetheless.

And then we went into that dreaded too many Millers in setups phase followed by THE TRAITOR META UGGHHHH.

Scum poe is very limited, basically sakura, alisae, flavor leaf, firebringer, osuka, norwee.

The most suggestible and disinterested town are probably already on the wagon, and scum NEED a town flip today to have any chance of hoping to survive, at all.
