I need to dig up the stats thread that was posted in the strategy sub-forums, and which I was looking through the other day. TLDR; when a scum is voted out, and elimination occured at e-n (where n > 2), well over 50% of those votes had at least one scum in them, and in many instances (e-5 for example), scum hammered their partner in around 30% of votes.

The ability to self-vote is available to everyone because it has to be, in other for scum to be able to utilize it as a strategy to shut down discussion.

Self-voting as town is a valid tactical decision, but when you knowingly place yourself at risk of imminent elimination (such as putting yourself at E-1 with known lolhammers in the game AND EGGING THEN ON TO HAMMER, that is quite likely crossing a line.
