[Miztef]

A Tempest of sleet, hail, and wind has engulfed the small town of 12 people. Electricity lines have been cut, and all roads blocked. Cut off from the rest of the world, food is running short and some townspeople have become extra greedy and formed an alliance to kill town off and have more food for themselves. Starving for food with little time left, the town makes a drastic decision to lynch off each other in order to keep food supplies as high as possible and eliminate the group that is destroying them.

This set-up is semi-open.

These are the roles you may see in this set-up with an explanation of each. The explanations may or may not fully encompass all abilities of the role.

Townie

- A regular player, has no special abilities, wins with the town.

Mafia

- A regular member of the mafia, the mafia send in a nightkill each night, wins with the mafia.

Mafia Godfather

- A member of the mafia who is immune to investigation and/or night kills. Wins with the mafia.

Mafia Roleblocker

- A member of the mafia who can roleblock players at night, negating any abilities they may use. Wins with the mafia.

Serial Killer

- An Anti-town player who can make a nightkill each night. Wins only if he is the last player standing, or it is inevitable that this will be the case.

Masons

- Town players who know eachother as town players. Can talk at night. Wins with the town.

Lovers

- A variation of Masons in which if one of the 2 die, the other dies shortly after. Wins with the town.

Cop

- Investigates 1 player a night and is told if they are innocent or guilty. Guilty players play against the town, innocent play for the town. The cop may have sanity issues, which include: Insane - results are reversed, Naive - results are always innocent, Paranoid - results are always guilty, or Random - Results are completely random. Wins with the town.

Doctor

- Can protect 1 player a night, stopping all night kills on them. Wins with the town.

Jailkeeper

- Protects and Roleblocks 1 player a night. Both these actions must be used on the same player. (ie. they must be both Protected and Roleblocked, not either/or). Wins with the town.

Watcher

- Targets 1 player a night. If that player is killed, the watch learns who killed them. Wins with the town.

Miller

- A normal townie who comes up guilty in investigations. Wins with the town.

Roleblocker

- Blocks 1 player from all night actions each night. Wins with the town.

Vigilante

- Kills 1 player each night. Wins with the town.

It is now Day 3.

Rules

* Votes must be made in bold (for example, Vote: PlayerZ). Unvotes can be made, and revoting should be done with Unvote, Vote: PlayerX)

* A majority of votes is required to lynch. Majority is always 50%+1 of the players left alive. The number of players alive, and the number of votes needed to lynch will be posted in each vote count and will always be in the first post. You may Vote: No Lynch if you do not wish to lynch anybody during the day. Once a lynch (or No Lynch) has occurred, no changes in votes will be accepted.

* Deadlines may come up if activity is low.

* Once a player has died, they cannot talk at all anymore. Nothing except 1 non-game revelant post is acceptable after death. (this should be made shortly after death or not at all)

* You may not edit or delete any posts. No "sneaky text" of any sort, keep text readable and functional. No foriegn languages, white text, hard to read text, very small text, etc.

* You may not communicate with any player outside the thread unless specifically stated in your role PM.

* You may not quote any out-of-thread communications, such as role PMs.

* Night choices must be submitted to me each night before deadline. Deadline will normally be 3 days, possibly extended at my discretion.

* If you cannot post in the thread for 72 or more hours, please notify myself and the players by posting in game when your absense will be and for how long. An absense of more then 1 week may result in nessesary replacement.

The sheering cold of the tempest glides over everyone in the town square as they walk to the city hall. In the back of their minds everyone knew that only 11 of them in the group are likely to walk back out into the cold alive today. Starvation is starting to set in and the town is out for blood.

Also: why was the vote count included in populartajo's post? It caused me some major confusion

The mod edits the top post of every page so we can always have a semi-up-to-date vote count that can easily be located.

important note: I'm having horrible computer trouble and can't get online for a while. The game can probably continue, but we have a player in need of replacement (well, 2, but I have 1 ready). No vote counts or possible lynches until probably a week. Very sorry, but there's not much I can do when my comp decides to destroy itself.

Ok so, I don't have much time on this computer, but basically I did something absolutely stupid.

LaptopGun was supposed to replace Ashmite84. That was the plan all along. However, I mixed up the names and sent him alvinz's role pm and said he was replacing him.

The only way I can see this recovering is that laptopGun must leave the game entirely, and a new replacement for ashmite must be found (as well as one for hypatia).

I completely understand if everyone wants this game to be abdoning, because that was a fairly horrible mistake on my part, and I really can't fix it easily without a working computer.

I'm really really sorry everyone.

I will attempt to contact MeMe with the situation and see if she can recover this game while I'm away or find someone to.

sorry everyone, I've kinda been slipping away from mafiascum lately. I'll post an updated vote count at the top of this page.

I'll be away this weekend, I don't think it'll be too much of a problem, but I just wanted to let everyone know. I'll be back sunday night/monday morning.

I'm terribly sorry to inform everyone of this, but I feel a real need to leave the site. I have lost all interest in mafia a while ago, and with my busying schedule, I can't find the time to do something I'm not interested in.

I have asked to find a replacement mod asap. I know I've been a fairly bad mod over the course of this game anyway, and wish for this game to continue properly.
