Kop announcing only matter if we hit scum today. If not it's game over then.
If we hit scum and he announces his target: if his target is scum, scum claims the there must have been a NK to frame him.
So basically him announcing gives that possibility.
If he doesn't announce scum can't really take the nk risk because they wouldn't know if they were going to frame the town or potentially themselves.

The problem I found with this line of thinking is it's actually not the best play for scum to attempt a quickhammer here since we have a JK. We still have a chance if we mislynch versus normal endgame scenarios. So I think there is scum there but we can't say anyone is confirmed.

Kop would have to guess the killing scum right for all of time for it to be a draw. It's not possible.
Town could never lower the amount of scum but scum could lower the amount of town.

That doesn't dispute what I said. If you weren't scum notmafia is vote 1, scum 2 is vote 2 and I would be the vote 3, so they have their secured 3. There's no way that if Mulch was scum that he would have voted not mafia knowing he could have just as easily gone with srceenplay and gotten the win.
