The Mafia gets to decide at the beginning which set of town roles they want to be in play. The town is not informed of this choice.
Game rules:
1. Keep swearing to a minimum. Flaming is allowed as long as it's not too extreme. Use common sense here.
2. Don't gamethrow. Everything you do should have the goal of fulfilling your win condition.
3. Post regularly. If you go forty eight hours without posting I will prod you. If you do not respond to this within twenty four hours you will be replaced. If you receive a second prod you will be replaced. You must post content to reset the prod timer, "prod-dodging" does not count.
4. Days will last two weeks or until a majority is obtained. Nights will last two days.
5. Do not communicate outside the game thread, mafia chat, and dead chat, or post in the first two while dead. Violation of this rule will result in modkill for the offender, and may result in force replacement of others involved if necessary. This includes private communication with non-players.
6. Vote using the vote tags, and clearly separate votes from other text. Votes that do not use the vote tags or which are hidden inside walls of text will not be counted.

The town gathered around the corpse of their fallen brother. The Clerk, the only one with a list of the town's officers, had been killed. After examining the body they realized that his attackers had stolen the list of officers, though the part with their identities remained clenched in his hand. Since the killers could be anyone, it was agreed that no one should be allowed to see that information.
Day 1 will end at 12:00 AM CST January 14th, or when a majority is reached.

While the town was desperately trying to figure out who had killed their beloved Clerk, a man ran into the public square shouting "I did it, I confess, I'm in the Mafia"! One of the groundskeepers said to the other "just ignore the jester", "but wait" the other replied, "there is no jester".
Superhans has been lynched. His role was Mafia Goon.

Apparently the killings weren't over yet. One of the townspeople had been found dead in their house, and an examination of their possessions made it clear that the town had just lost its law enforcement.
Zyf was killed last night. He was a 1-shot Cop.
Day two begins. It will end at 10:30 AM CST on 1/18/17, or when a majority is reached.

The town was awoken early in the morning by the blood curdling scream of what could only be a grieving mother. As the town gathered around, they saw a terrible sight. A young boy, not old enough to know the difference between right and wrong, had been brutally killed in the night. The town was quite disturbed, and wondered who would do such a thing, but their wonder soon came to an end when the body of a strange man was found in the vicinity of the victim's house. It seemed that someone had done in the killer.
Desperado was killed last night. He was an Innocent Child.
A Simple Plan was killed last night. He was a Two-Shot Vigilante.
Day three will end at 10:00 PM CST on January 23rd, or when a majority is reached.

Okay I realize that the game state has gotten ridiculous, so:
I'm extending the prod timers to 48/24 instead of 24/12, effective immediately. Also, players replaced for inactivity may get their slot back by posting content, if they do this before anyone else takes the slot.

If none of the three slots currently in need of replacement are filled in the next forty eight hours, I will begin modkilling them at twenty four hour intervals, in the order in which they were replaced. If any are filled, I will wait another forty eight hours before modkilling another.
