Venrob's reaction looks genuine. He should vote for someone in his next post.

Absolutely, it is. You're not going to get information without there being real stakes on the table.
It seems like you expect scum to magically slip that they have information the rest of us don't. That rarely happens. Town usually lynches someone they think will give them more information on the game, someone they have a gut read on, or settle for a policy lynch. Worse case scenario, they deadline lynch someone at random.
Without the backing of votes or the pressure of deadline, you can't figure out who the scum is. It's easy to distance from a buddy if you think they're safe from being lynched, either because it's too early, or because the other players in the game think that your buddy is town.
You may have been forced to claim, but that took a few votes off of you and now you have players like me who think you're town, thanks to the bandwagon that built on you. Bandwagons generate information, wallposting and pointing out contradictions or technicalities don't. Town contradict themselves, change their reads, do anti-town things for the wrong reason all the time. It's only after a few flips that you get to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
TL;DR
8/10 would wagon againGuard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

These posts make me think anorway is scum:
In post 65, anorway wrote:Aren't we going too fast with this one? We have barely 3 pages of information, half of which are RVS.
I don't think anorway really believes that there was a credible threat of a quickhammer. It seems more like "a good opinion to generally have" to keep off the radar. Something very general, that no one would really question, and counts towards the post count if someone ISOs you.In post 98, anorway wrote:
I felt there was a real threat that someone would hammer, and we would be left with not really much information when Day 2 starts, regardless of how Venrob would have flipped. In post 74, RedCoyote wrote: VOTE: anorway for 66. Post 73 confirms Venrob as town in my mind. His persona has nothing to do with it, stubborn or not. Even if he was voting me, I wouldn't change my mind on him. I'm curious to why you would still lynch him after 73.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Here's the story. PB was crying the entire Day 1 for us to lynch him. Archaebob and I called for a force replace for playing against his wincon. Instead, PB replaces out by himself, and then other players got mad and replaced out too. It turns out that PB was scum all along, and those who followed him out of the game were his buddies. Scum won that.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Redcoyote, I've been thinking. I resonated with what you were posting for almost all of Day 1. It almost seemed like we were in lockstep. I'm talking about suspicions on anorway, townread on Venrob, etc.
Except this post:
I thought this was completely opposite of what you were saying earlier, and what increased my town read on you in the first place. You said Venrob was town, then you said you wanted him to eat rope. I thought this might have been a distancing tactic from a buddy, to hedge your bets in case the town lynched Venrob for his temper tantrum. In post 134, RedCoyote wrote:TvK, are you suggesting that Acidic is coaching Venrob?
ABR, I agree with you, but everything Venrob has been saying except for 73 leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. As of right now, I think I want them both to eat rope.
Venrob flipping town changes my read on you; I think you're more likely to be town now. I wasn't as confident of my town read on Venrob as I made it appear, and I've seen suicidal scum make it out alive for posts like he made. I can see you having the same type of misgivings.
On the Venrob mislynch, the most likely to be scum is Desperado. His posts are short and scattered, meaning that he only appeared when it mattered, only when the window to mislynch Venrob was open.
His anorway vote also bothered me, even though we were both the ones to bring anorway up.In post 115, Desperado wrote:

Nothing really has come up to convince me otherwise at all.
On the "Eh, doesn't smell like scum" category (Alphabetical because I can't think of another way to list):
Albert B. Rampage
anorway
Dont_Vote_Me
RedCoyote
In the scum category in order of scummyness:
Umbrage
Desperado
FormerFish
If you're not on that list then I don't have that much of a read.
Acid listed me as a townread. Why can't we go for Desperado first?

I read #231 as "Umbrage, how come Albert is not on your scum list anymore?" as an appeal to a player you implicitly thought of as town, to motivate his non-scumread on me, who you imply is scum, or else why would you ask him that?Guard your honor. I went back and read his posts again and I keep coming back to the claim. Why would he claim that way, and why would he not say who he protected in his claim post? Because he didn't think about his lie that deeply yet? He doesn't have a breadcrumb. There's really no setup to his claim. Worse, now I know why I got such a bad impression of his claim; he spelled bodyguard wrong. The claim sounds like a half-baked, made-up falsehood. In post 298, Umbrage wrote:give Acidic one last chance to scramble about and say he was roleblocked or something

It's MYLO, what are you doing Umbrage??
I've not been endgamed in over a year. I don't even remember how that feels like. I don't want to know. OK. If you do as I say, we're going to no-lynch right now and then turn this ridiculous game around and lynch scum three times in a row. I'm not losing like this, not with 8 players and 3 scum left.

Well we literally had the worst possible PRs if that's the case.In post 342, Umbrage wrote:Both anorway and Desperado are scum.
Scum know how many town PRs are in the game. We've had three flip so far, and I doubt scum would take more than that.
If there are no town PRs left, scum are free to claim whatever they want.
So they both claim tracker with a guilty on the other, we lynch one, and the other is confirmed town that rides to endgame.
Either that or Desperado is laughably bad at counter-claiming.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Anorway fits the bill for scum IMO. Coasting scum who barely got away the first two days is again almost lynched Day 3 so he pulls out a claim he planned with his team. Desperado's claim sounds fake as well though. I won't be upset if one of them takes back their tracker claim right now. If they keep to their story and they're both town, that's another story. This is their last chance.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Umbrage's play is deliberately weak and careless like he's scum. Desperado doesn't seem like town with his 3rd vote and counterclaim. I can see Umbrage/Desperado and one of them is the traitor, and they're with TvK and agreed to a bus. Or anorway is scum with Formerfish / DVM. But that's not right...could be anorway and Tvk. The question is are scum intending to win today or bussing for towncred.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-
