by my unofficial head votecount loks like the largest wagons are btwn pecan and rach, willing to vote either one as this is desperation time and i don't particularly have a townread on either, but this guy managed to make a wallpost that was a lot of hedging nonsense and is basically just trying to feel out which wagons he can safely jump on
VOTE: pecan
also don't really give a damn about PRs
should be around at deadline if we need to make a shift-

BK201 is town now, btw. draft logic, same number as pecan.
willing to bet that at least one of these is a partner, also. pecan strikes me as a cliche enough player to distance so predictably. venmar is town, so that leaves {cobbler, andrew, elmo}. makes elmo's vote at deadline look pretty bad.In post 774, pieceofpecanpie wrote:Read my #696, I'm looking at Cobbler, andrew, Hoopla, Jal, Venmar and Elmo for scum potential.-

it's called chainsaw defense, it happens quite frequently, it is used to indirectly defend a teammate who is being attacked by a townie by attempting to discredit that townie
and yes, people can be that transparent. i don't think arugula is a super genius level scum player-

The funnier thing is Ser Arthur Dayne/PB/petapan was also one of Hoopla's possible scum reads (all be it, minor) early on, so why are you laughing at Arugula's speculation, peta?
i replaced iamausername, hoopla's reads don't really mean squat to me, and that post only merited laughter in response because there's not actually any substance-

gut vote - he seemed to be making a lot of commentary and conversation and not much directed effort at finding scum, and his votes were fairly weak. i'd go more into it but he's moved down in my priority list considerably.-

I need to catch up so I'll vote when I finish my reading.
Well yeah, that's a hypothetical. The point is that we don't know why she was killed or killed her. I gave the example of a vig killing Hoopla because it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility for a town-aligned vig to shoot Hoopla. Meanwhile, a mafia-aligned vig's kill would essentially be the same as a mafia kill.
hoopla was town the moment pecan flipped, why are you still talking about this-

- Arugula makes sense as scum just because you have said that.
- More seriously, a scum vigilante is actually a pretty strong role, and then there is the mystery of what has happened to the scum factional kill, because I don't see why they would no-kill the first night.
scum can use both the factional kill and the vig kill on the same night, so unless you think arugula is playing some backwards gambit where he's trying to get us to mislynch based on someone saying something he couldn't have planned on and then use the double kill night 2
idk i just can't see him claiming the way he did as scumfree crypto-

arugula isn't scum and definitely not scum with cobblerfone
little bit torn here actually
even if one of cobbler/rach is scum, by the nature of their claims they have to keep clearing people if they're left alive. not sure lynching one of them is the best play today given that we have 3 mislynches available

Not snipping, peta. I'm just saying that if they are both scum their roles are a perfect way to discourage town from lynching either of them. To make town "hope" that at least one or both are town, thus ignoring any perceived scumtells in favor of giving them a chance.
We really have no choice but to give one a chance but I want to eliminate the role having the greatest level of WIFOM, thus my preference for a Rach lynch.
eh. if they were both scum they'd still end up being suspect for living and would have to clear players. doesn't make a difference from my POVfree crypto-
