I just got out of a game with Quilford not that long ago where his play was very different from what it is here. In that game he was scum, and barely existing. The fact that he's more engaged in this game indicates to me that he is town.

Now for Jason I have a bit of an itinerary to go through.

When I went after Quil's request for a miller claim, Jason explained it with that which indicated that there was reasoning for his action to be null.

1) When I can be bothered to hunt them down, sure. Probably tomorrow though. its near 11pm and I dont fancy going through all my old games this late.

To the query about policy lynching, I'd settle for any town record of you doing this.

There's no such thing as too early in terms of getting reads in a game. (This goes for Glowball too.)

No, I'm saying knowing right from the start takes the fun out of the game. The fun comes in trying to deduce who is scum.. which is the point of the game.

If I come out and say Yes Quilford, I am scum... then it defeats the entire purpose of Mafia.

Why should I, or anyone have to claim scum or town in pre-game? or at any other time than L-1... rolefish some more little fishy. So no, I refuse to answer your question point blank. If you want to know my alignment, you can deduce that from my gameplay.

He's right, there's nothing to saying you're town if you're town.

Add all that to my previously stated reason for voting for Jason. Now I wait for Jason's response. (Because there's some elements to Jason's play that seem very unlike him in general which are throwing me off.)

I used to, but I don't so much anymore. Metagaming can very easily be biased by what conclusion you want to draw.

Jason, when you ask if someone is scum, you're looking beyond the answer itself when assessing the player you are asking.

That's why your refusal to answer at all irked me.

Had a quick look at one of the policy lynch links and it satisfies me that particular action isn't scummy.

Quilford, you did make a mistake posting those town-reads, I shook my head when I first read them, but then realized that you really wouldn't be dumb enough to post two people when there is only two scum. That amazes me as much as anything. Either he is protecting one scum partner and himself or he doesn't know if they are scum or not.
