Rules

1. I am Mod, thy God. I am on a power trip and my wish is your command. Failure to comply will result in bad things happening to you and your faction.
   
2. If I screw something up, please PM me unless it is something minor, in which case you can simply let me know in thread:

3. During the day phase, you try to find out who the Mafia are, and then proceed to lynch them. Votes must be in bold or they will not be counted, like so:

4. Lynches happen if a player receives a majority (50% +1) of the votes. If a deadline occurs before a majority is reached, then the player who has the highest vote count will be eliminated. If a tie occurs, then whoever reached the highest number at deadline first is lynched.
   
5. Quoting private communications from the mod is not allowed. Do so at risk of modkill. You may paraphrase if you like. If you are unsure if what you are about to post is acceptable, please PM me, I will gladly answer questions.
   
6. If you are dead, you are dead. Shut up, and save it for the aftergame.
   
7. Players failing to participate actively will be prodded. Failing to post in 48 hours after the prod will result in being replaced. Post or GTFO
   
8. At night, the thread will be locked. If I forget, assume it is locked, AND DO NOT POST!
   
9. All night actions are due in 48 hours. If you don’t send in a night choice, then you don’t get your action. All factions that have a QT may post in their respective QT. Everyone else, shut up about the game until Day.
   
10. I will start Day early if all actions are received, and all players with a QuickTopic have stated to me that they are ready.
    
11. Do not post your role PM. A modkill awaits you if you do.
    
12. This is a game. Enjoy it, or replace out.
    
13. The colour purple (this colour) is reserved for mod usage.
    
14. Do not edit/delete your posts.

andrew94 was walking down the hallway to pick up some samples from the GCMS when he heard a noise from behind him. "Hello? Anyone there?" he said.

Seeing nobody he kept going, now feeling a little apprehensive. Suddenly 6 people wearing lab coats rushed around the far end of the hallway, carrying pitchforks and bunsen burners, with murder in their eyes.

"It's you!" One of them shouted, "I know it is! I've read dissertations that he wrote, and the way he's been acting today doesn't sound at all like the thesis papers I've read!"

"Let's trounce him thoroughly, lads!" screamed another.

Poor andrew94 tried to flee but the raging mob quickly cornered him next to a freezer full of frozen pig fetuses. He tried in vain to defend himself by getting very angry with the approaching dorkmob, but alas the nerd rage was unstoppable and andrew94 promptly had the snot beaten out of him.

Thor665 was wandering the halls of the laboratory pondering how the Riemann-Zeta function is a rippled curtain of the imaginary and the real, deeply interconnected with the prime numbers in ways incomprehensible.

So deep were his thoughts, so inward was his attention turned that he didn't notice the two people wearing gas-masks sneaking up behind him. At the last minute one of them shouted "PI IS EXACTLY THREE!!!" in order to get his attention. When Thor turned around in shock and disgust, the two hoodlums mercilessly bashed in his skull with chalkboard erasers.

Doctor Myshottyizsik was in the library contemplating the nature of matter when a bunch of angry people burst in. The librarian tried to shush them but was quickly shouted down and thrown out the window.

"It's the doc! Get him boys!" yelled edmund.

"Where's bv310?" asked another. "I thought he was around here somewhere."

"NOT TO FEAR! GANDALF IS HERE!" screamed gandalf5166. "I WILL SMITE YOU WITH THIS BOOK CONTAINING STEAM TABLES!!!!"

And smite him he did. Gandalf5166 bludgeoned drmyshottyizsik to death with his steam tables book, and then reached into shotty's pockets to reveal.....

Edmund.angles was alone late at night (or so he thought) doing some quantum waveform analysis when he heard a knock at the door. "Who could that be at such an hour?"

He opened the door to the computer lab and saw someone wearing a Marie Curie mask, holding a burette in one hand and a retort stand in the other. Edmund smiled at the sight of what he thought was an eager student. "I'm sorry miss," he said. "There aren't any facilities here for doing acid-base titrations. You'll have to head down to the chemical labs on the 3rd floor."

Little did Edmund know that the Marie Curie impostor was not interested in determining the concentration of either acids OR bases. He or She roared some sort of battle cry and then rammed the burette up Edmund's nose, and then swung the retort stand into Edmund's mommy-daddy parts.

Edmund.angles howled in pain, unable to form his expletives properly due to the burette in his sinuses, and if you were there that night you would have seen someone in a Marie Curie costume bludgeon edmund.angles to death with a retort stand.

edmund.angles, vanilla townie, has been horribly killed!
