but on the subject of the lovers claiming I'm against this it sounds like a good way to loose townies it sounds like a good way for the mafia to quickly off two townies at once, the lover who is paired with Treacherous lover is unlikely to know that he is the treacherous lover.

Also I just noticed something in post sixty three. You say the treacherous lover most likely doesn't know he is treacherous. On what do you base this since the role pms were posted in this thread for each role.... Very interesting. And I have a suspicion of Nik but idk of I can say why without breaking the rule of talking about other games...

No the townie lover paired with treacherous lover won't know his lover is treacherous, I'm pretty certain that the treacherous lover will know hes treacherous.

what do you mean "we now have to lynch the lover couples over the next two days, otherwise scum get a free shot at the town couple"? That makes absolutely no sense to me.... For one, if the scum Night kill the town lover then they totally sacrifice the treacherous lover and ends up ending badly for them. And you assume that everyone that voted against claiming lovers is town since you say I did something against the "town majority"? In fact it benefits scum more in my opinion to have the lovers not claim so in my opinion the scum are most likely on the not claiming list therefore I did not vote against the town majority. Top 3 suspects to me right now is XScorpion, Nikanor, and Chronopie.

Someone from the other lover pair needs to claim.

Because I think he's making a false claim knowing the majority don't support a lovers claim and lynch, he probably think that by claiming he's a lover he is safe because everyone is so against lynching them.

because the town has practically said its not going to go with the lynch all lovers idea, so claiming lover makes it less likely for people to lynch him

the thing is now scum knowing who the lovers are if one pair of them gets lynched then the doctor protects one from the other pair, the scum will just target a random player hoping to get either the doctor or the other lover, therefore making the protection of them pointless.
Also with this lynching lovers we risk a large sum of townies for one definite scum hit, I don't think this is a good trade in.

Can I get a poll of who wants to lover lynch and who doesn't? I want to have a solid idea of what we're going to do today

well I didn't even want the lovers to come out and be recognized by the general populace, as I thought it would lead to this situation "do we lynch lovers or not" as opposed to the situation Yankee thought it would lead to where we lynch a lovers pair. but now its out in the open I'm really not sure what the best solution is, I'm going to go with trying to find scum instead of targeting lovers, to me targeting lovers seems like a cop out where the town doesn't really have to think until later.

No, if you do and you guys are the town pair then the mafia has two options on which to night kill and the doctor also has to flip a coin between the two of you, Dont out your partner if he wants to come out he will claim he is your lover all by himself, don't force him into in.

I am very tempted to claim who my lover is because that timing that Easjo was pushing me, and then just stopped dead when my lover suggested which group he was in just seems to "perfect"....
