I try to go with my gut, then everyone shoots me down for it because I have nothing to back it up then woah-la at the end of game if theres two scum I generally have one right.
where as when I don't use my gut I generally end up hunting townies.

I think that semioldguy's system for determining scum is flawed, but if that is how he wishes to make his decisions as to where his votes go thats is entirely up to him. What I do have a problem with is how vocal he was/is about it,
it comes across as a veiled threat, as though we all have him to listen to and make sure we tread carefully around, none of which I appreciate. I do however think there is a strong possibility that he is just being obnoxious and
is not mafia. And I do think that this is being pushed toward a lynch too easily.

I will be using a point system this game. There are six of you and two of you are scum. That gives any of you a 33.3% chance of being scum and as such you all begin with 33 points. If I like you, I'll take some of your points away. If not, then I'll give you more.

The last, bolded part is pure speculation. Period. You are theorizing what

happen. This is poor play and distracts from the game. Not only is this specifically NOT how I treat my scale, but you should use this as a point against me if it does happen (not before it happens mind you). The presence of a scale will not change what my cases and points against people are. The scale doesn't tell me what to do, I tell what the scale to do. (before you go and speculate that I could just change the scale to whatever my whimsy, don't. Again, speculation and diversion. In a case like that,

your whole arguement between you and lacey was also a null tell, yes I do automatically assume that everyone is going to become scummier on your scale because thats what these kinds of things end up being.

People should stop focusing on the point scale and my personality and look at the actual points I've made about other players this game.

With Lacey, I'm getting a pro-town vibe from her, but if semi flips town, I see her as very probable scum.

I'm pretty sure now that Lacey is scum, her return posts are getting more and more scum-defensive in the sense that it seems she is scum trying to be not scummy.
If Lacey doesn't claim in the next day I'll have no issues with seeing her lynched

This is exactly why I haven't voted yet, because I don't know whos scum and why I said I'd reread the thread, Its not always the hammer that is scum and its not always the first vote laid on the person that is scum. you are right everyone is a possible suspect, again that is why I haven't voted.

People need to be posting more. This happened Day 1. If people aren't posting, then the town can't get reads. This is really anti-town. Scum will be able to lurk. Will people post please?

The reason people weren't posting much on day one or at least me is because I initially was trying to join in on what was going on between lacey and semi, but stepping away from the computer for a few hours resulted in screeds of text from those two alone, I got sick of it and decided not to post while they were having their feud.
As for day two well as you say there's not much posting happening so there's not much to respond to, it probably doesn't help that we're in lylo so people are worried that if they say something they'll end up voting for the wrong person.

yes I was tempted, tempted to break my policy on policy lynches this is exactly why I said this and exactly why I didn't vote for him because I knew that was all it was. I think I explain this somewhere earlier...
He was getting to me but I was able to avoid all that so how is this 'tell' anything?

they were the only ones posting! they were the only ones who I had any kind of read on, and again as I've already said It was coming off as two townies getting distracted as opposed to scumminess.

yes, opinions change, its what this game is about. I was brought round to thinking that lacey was being very defensive if she was indeed townie so I started to think she was scum.
I was willing to hammer but stuff may have come up that altered that which is why I posted saying I'd wait, and wait I did. Someone got to the hammer before me.

Then in iso 12, she doesn’t want to lynch the 2 scummiest players in the game.

yes because initially I didn't like the lacey/semi bicker then i came to the thought that lacey was scum said I'd be willing to hammer, then someone else did. I haven't voted today because well I'm guessing you can figure that one out

I am here, i swear, just really busy. Plus I dont see how being busy and not posting is scummy. I have noticed one thing in the above post to go along with my suspicion of SOG. In your post you say that you suspected that SOG and Lacey's bickering was just 2 townies butting heads, but to me it seems like you are defending SOG by leading us to believe that he is a townie by saying since lacey was a townie then SOG must be too basically. I am still more suspicious of SOG for egging on the lacey lynch when i still havent noticed much lacey has done suspicious, but that little line bugged me i guess and makes me thing if SOG is scum then you would be his scumbuddy.

the only sense in which I can see me having defended semi is when I was defending both semi and lacey saying that I thought they were both town.

I think you did a great job if this is your first time modding jackabomb, I'd be happy for you to mod more of my games, there's just one thing I'd suggest is rotating the names you use in fluff text so that no one start trying to meta with it to determine if peoples names in the fluff text are town or mafia. if that makes any sense.


as for them pesky werewolves you guys did well and it couldn't have been made easy with having a player drop out.
