Nah it's a little more complicated than that..
Elli said something in another game with no night phase, about 2 hours before a deadline, that could be construed that he knew I was scum in that game because of something I said in another game. This was just as this game started.
With no night phase in the other game to give me time to ask for advice in, and worrying that turning up scum in this game would be used to insta-lynch me in that other game I decided to pull. Pulling from everything might have been an over reaction (Ok, it was) but I was worried about screwing this game up as one obvious strategy* for this game was for the goon to bus himself to help townie up the godfather and if any of you guys read that game and saw Elli's comment you might assume it was this game he was talking about. I don't believe it was btw.
Ironically Elli, if you had either said what game it was in**, or phrased it as meta (or even that I had said something about my meta) then this problem wouldn't have occured.
Also ironically, I probably did have time with someone going VLA for a week at the start.
*Which they used I believe. I was kinda thinking we'd have to do something along those lines. The strategy used in the last one of these games seemed to be two girls fliting their way through the game
**Not 100% sure that would be allowed but you could have asked the mod if you can mention the game in that way.
