At least that should confirm AndyTony's replacement as town.

Scum hate confirming town. So this gives me a town feel. (Still, it is horrible logic .)

Also note that at this point, since it kind of seems like AT is the day's lynch [atleast 5/7 ppl want him dead] than we probably won't get too much deep discussion today...

Whilst I believe AT is scum, I'm not hammering three weeks before deadline. Sort of want to see what any replacement has to say.

Anyway, the part where I thought I saw YJ softclaim a PR was when he said that he loves the mod, as YJ correctly guessed. I retract my statement about YJ's softclaim, but AT's reaction to it was pretty interesting, at least.

@Nikanor, sorry about the spelling. I can't explain my predecessors actions. I didn't like them much myself. But I know I am town, I don't know your alignment. Note I am not voting for you either, so I don't really see it is that awful, I just don't like it,

@Saber, I can clearly see Toro could be seen as a scumbuddy, but from my perspective his actions are town as despite his bad logic, he said I was confirmed town and I believe scum would be unlikely to do this.

Yami post felt more off to me as he was taking an weaker position. He didn't seem that interested in what I was going to say and looked more like he was waiting for a more opportune time to join my wagon. (Ok, not watertight but a plausible extrapolation IMO)

Its a bit early to be buddying . I called you town from one post. The situation may change, it may not.

I believed AT was Scum because of the way he acted in that situation, but I knew that it could well be the truth, so was going to let him off. Hammering in that situation would've been Scummy, stating I thought he was Scummy isn't.

That is correct, but why didn't you just say this before? Your post doesn't really imply this.

I can't see much backtracking from Taranski but I do see a general disinterest in who is lynched and no will to scumhunt. So yeah, improve your game or expect me to join your wagon.

Well, yes I am clearly at L-1 but we are barely passed the random stage. Why ask for a claim now. L-1 != autoclaim IMO, an early claim can only hurt to town now unless you clearly intend to lynch me.

If I claim now, I either force the town to lynch me or go into night with a revealed role. The purpose of a claim is a last chance to stop a lynch. Unless I am most certainly going to be lynched, no claim for you.

But yeah, I also dislike your response that you were just following procedure. You should know better than to role-fish like that for little reason.

What do you gain out of an early claim? If I was a PR, I can claim later if necessary, maybe I won't be lynched and I won't need to.
If I am town, you gain nothing.

If someone hammers me without a claim, that person is an idiot.

Right now, its page 5, 5 days into a game. Claiming is illogical at this point unless I am clearly going to be lynched, I may be on L-1 but it is a small game and no-one looks like they are about to hammer at the moment. If I feel that I am going to be lynched, I will claim.

Asking for a claim isn't great at this point but not necessarily scummy. Stating that I "am obv not a PR" is and is just fishing for reactions. Even if you did interpret this from my post, why would you say it?

This is the main reason why I am voting you.

The point I am trying to make is this:

If I am going to be lynched, I will claim. So if someone threatens to hammer me I will claim.
If I am not going to be lynched, I should not claim. Right now I can't see my lynch as a foregone conclusion so I think it would currently be a bad idea to claim regardless of the fact I am on L-1.

If I am vanilla, a claim now would be useless.
If I am not, the scum now know of a PR.

The point of a claim (in an ordinary game) IMO is the last chance to stop the lynch of a PR.
So yeah, to repeat, if I think I am about to be lynched, I will claim.
