I had a slight town lean on them before you said you had a super accurate scum tell thing. Their reaction didn't strike me as something scum would not be able to fake, but not particularly scummy either.

So did you have a strong town read on them before you started the stunt or was it after. If before can you clarify what made you town read them to be confident to pull that stunt? Or was it a gambit?

I was scum reading una for the early town read on shurro. Specifically the comment about shurro being relaxed early on striked me as tmi’ed. Later posting from una has been ok and I wanted to give the slot a breather. If una scum maybe shurro town. Could also be scum theatre.

Norwegian I had an early town read on for pushing some of the things I was noticing, I’m not sure how I feel about them post shurro stunt.

But why navigate it off Ari then? I don’t think this points back to my question but to humor it and out if curiosity what’s the motivation here? Did Ari not feel like a guarantee offing that Shirou shifted off of and the people followed? Unless Ari and Shirou are aligned I’m not sure I track with the motivation.

The motivation in the case of town ari and scum shurro is to at the very least set up bad associatives. It is also better to flip una first while they are on vla and not leave them for tomorrow when theyll be back with better reads and more able to defend themselves.

Some townies are town reading Shurro, which I can get why given effort and frequent posting. I'm not really sure where Pina, Klick and CSF stand on this. I think Fire, std are ok with shurro dying. TGP also think Shurro is town.

I don't see as much resistance to TGP, klick is the only one that have expressed a townread on this slot. Una was scum reading TGP, Gamma was scum reading TGP. Ari thought TGP was town, but Fire thinks he is scum. Lack of resistance could be town indicative for TGP in this set up but maybe TGP is dead weight for the scum team. if scum!TGP someone in his team is willing to bus, apparently, or at least hasn't complained about him dying. Alternatively Gamma was a frame kill and TGP is town. But OTOH if they wanted to just frame TGP why just not kill me? OTOH if scum!TGP killing me was probably too obvious and killing gamma a good second best. I don't think I was widely townread so maybe keeping me around as a lim target also makes sense.

Logic is the following:

1) Ari told Shurro not to kill TGP on D1
2) TGP hammered Una to avoid counterwagons (Ari/TGP)
3) TGP post hammer comment 'I wanted Air more, but this is fine" (paraphrasing). This can be seen as a way to distance themselves from Ari
4) On D2 when TGP looks like the most likely candidate doubles down: 'Lets flip Fire - I'll vote myself if town'. Now this can be interpreted as either: bad attempt at futher distancing or framing attempt.
5) TGP when called out and hammer looked inevitable triples down. Again, this was either a frame or a bad attempt to distance.
6) STD was scum reading fire and gets NKed.
7) CSF already mentioned this, but keeping the wagon options open for busers is good for Fire. Specially good if it is fire + other busser.

Could this be a framing attempt? sure -- but also, ocam's razor.

I think the main decision today is whether to lim Fire. Tgp flipped scum said he was really really sure that fire/ari was scum. The main question is weather that was bad distancing or a frame. There is a recent post I made with more details.

Yeah I think losing a team member early also didn't help the prospects. Not relevant to this game but you can start ruling out pairs early due to the mechanic.

Btw I think the wf gambit applies mostly with 2 left because of how high risk that play is.

Letting town murder eachother is also an underrated strategy so depends on the town I think. There was a non-zero chance of that happening in this game.
