This read confuses me as well, how is NM's approach here ever alignment indicative? It's not like the words are exactly game relevant.

Ali feels genuine I think. I lean town on the Enchant claim and don't understand why people think it's scummy. It makes Enchant commit to a roleclaim early for almost no obvious benefit. If he thinks he's probably going down on a given day he can't fake a guilty for instance.

Ali I find suspicious for reasons I've explained or at least tried to - the way BBT behaved towards her was completely unreasonable and she didn't really react to it or press BBT about it in any way. I think this shows a lack of real curiousity for BBT's motives to behave that way and I find it suspicious. I also don't like the way she pivoted to voting me after I questioned her. I had a tonal townread on her early game but that obviously has evaporated.

Ausuka - I claimed two strikes on you initially; both have been explained. This was enough for me to vote you and see where it goes. The two strikes are not the main cause of my scum read but you seem fixated on them instead of responding to the stuff that developed from there.

Since then, you have shown a subtle awareness of how you could possibly be perceived in thread and I believe this trait is usually found in scum. You have not refuted this whatsoever or even denied that you are being self-aware or cautious about how you may be perceived. You wanted to know why I was scum reading you - so just ask? I have not shown that at all. You have just repeated the nonsense you were talking before without adding any substance. I don't think I've been fixated on your early game - I've been pretty clear that I think you've been spewing nonsense throughout to look active and engaged in conflicts, which a lot of people tend to townread without digging into the substance of it.

I agree with this but feel like the breakdown of communication is fairly likely to be intentional on BBT's part. In response to my question, he votes me and immediately justifies it by just saying I have "bad posts." That approach is never going to generate anything approaching real communication. I also think he maintains this approach throughout the later pages, saying I'm scum for not asking another question after he ignored my first one and ignoring my explanations in favour of just repeating his point. The motive for scum BBT to do this is to cause a 1v1 conflict which I think quite a lot of people assume are probably TvT, especially combined with BBT's aggressive playstyle. It makes him look like he's generating content even though I don't think his approach shows much genuine sorting.

I tend to be fairly active, push people, and ask questions as town? It's hard to describe my own meta like this For what it's worth, people I played with often used to sort me tonally by saying that as scum I sounded bored and like I didn't really care

Bella, Gamma, froggo, Enchant are all townreads
fun times, bbt (I don't see them as partners) are also pretty likely to be town
Norway, NM, and goldish could go either way
