8 didn't specify when you were looking at whether would people to stick to their trs, so bugspray could've thought you meant during d1
i was kinda like "you have a point" when i read their post, i wasn't thinking about it too much tbh-

townpostIn post 86, implosion wrote:It doesn't have to do with him being one of Flea's townreads (I didn't notice that, so if that's what Dwlee was doing then ignore this); I had thought Flea's posting looked townish at a glance but not enough to mention it and I think it's not a read that scum has that much incentive to give at that moment. The thread hadn't been posted in for an hour and I think it's more likely for town to come in and say "this opening looks town" than for scum to come in and give a townread on someone who had no reads on them yet.-

my interpretation of gamma is that in the first post he thought bugspray lacked reading comprehension but then it reminded him of a different game where they were pushing him in a way he felt was similar, so then he decided to vote.
i'm confident gamma is town-

i think it's fine, 7 is not a big enough sample size to draw conclusions based on past runs, and the EV of 47.8% is pretty townsided in this meta.In post 194, Flea The Magician wrote:So as ever, I can't resist a bit of mech talk, even in an open.
Setup seems designed with maf only having night talk, but our setup has maf daytalk. Also given the stats on the wiki show that this game has a 73% scumwin rate, how're people feeling about this?-

i want to townread guiltylion for this, because my first instinct when i'm town and being pushed for things i know are nonsense is "look, here's a dump of 10 billion of my town and scum posts that prove that i never do this thing, can you piss off" so i definitely feel that. and also i was skimming dnc here and there when it was happening and i think that annoyance lines up. wouldn't mind seeing a few examples you offered, though. In post 293, GuiltyLion wrote:Do I need to pull the receipts for yall to listen to me? i still don't get why this is scum-indicative. they felt you were scummy individually, and they felt dwlee was scum individually, so i think they were just doing a sanity check of "one scumread voted the other, do they still make sense as partners?" and the answer was yes.In post 308, GuiltyLion wrote:Rather I was trying to make the point that saying "I can easily see this as partnered" - without putting any reassessing on whether it's possible/likely that town!GL is suspecting/poking a mutually suspected empty slot - is what strikes me as fake. There was no consideration that I may be town, just an assertion that their two scumreads make sense together
it wasn't a cue to reconsider you as town there, and i'm not sure why it should've been. it's early on enough that i wouldn't expect any townie to voice their idea of a possible town perspective for their scumread, rather seeing something they think is more likely scum than town is enough for a push.-

i don't even think this is very scum-indicative though if true. pre-empting a possible annoying question (or even scumread) as town is pretty reasonable and something i do relatively oftenIn post 313, GuiltyLion wrote:Eh, it didn't strike me as a sanity check, I thought it was a preemptive handwave of something they knew they might get questioned on or should be reevaluating.
i think you're frustrated with goats' push on you and you're turning that into a scumread. for me i don't see scum be this aggressive this early very often, so by default i'm tempted to read goats as towny and there's nothing in particular their play that would make me doubt that.
(speaking of pre-empting a question, i do feel that gl is towny atp)-

i don't buy this at all, it just feels like an excuse to vote goats or gl later/when one of them flipsIn post 361, Dwlee99 wrote:

also uh, do you wanna talk about anything wrt me?his whole thing with goats is confusing to understand
if dwlee really believed this, they'd probably be at least questioning goats and trying to sort them if not voting them, since the most likely scenario from their pov is that gl is town. and they had gl as an actual townread earlier.-

i don't necessarily think this is obviously MC's town meta, but i have pretty low expectations for his scum game and he's exceeding them so far with his big post. i just disagree with pooky that his post doesn't have depth, i think it has quite a bit of depth, and i've also had the experience multiple times of murder barely posting anything as town until pressed. the question is what he comes up with after that point, and it was pretty satisfying to me.-

solvy flareon is a rare flareonIn post 753, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:you're talking about one post he made under pressure after ghosting the thread for a week.
his previous post had been called out as weak one liners that had no substance or depth, so of course his next post is going to contain like more than one sentence.
he knows he has to make something that looks good or he gets yeeted so why wouldn't he fake some nuance?
like letting someone self-meta their own scum game is like setting up a 5 inch high hurdle for them to walk over.
btw this is the last time murdercat like scumread me for real reals on d1:
Mini 2170
Notice how much more involved he is in solving, interacting in the thread, look at the depth level of his reads and how much detail he goes into for the town even for post elimination after I had already more or less put him in a coffin.
This is not the same at all compared to what he's doing here.
like you're assuming that town!murdercat would always have reads with a ton of depth which is clearly not true, even in the game that you linked there are multiple points where his reads aren't super deep
my first assumption is never that someone expanded their scumrange and i'm not sure why yours is-

i think you need murdercat to explain that. i don't form reads with "this is so obviously wrong that no one could ever believe it", because there's almost no statement it's true for and scum don't usually say those things anyway.
he probably assumed implo is much more towny here than he was in those other games, but i'm not a mind-reader and i'm waiting for him to expand on the read.-

it's like, you're trying to make me justify murdercat's read when he hasn't even fully explained it. i didn't even say it was a towny read i just said it could make sense from a town perspective. it makes no [redacted] sense. i could sit here and list 7 different possible town explanations for his behavior but until he gives us his explanation. ime town says things that make no sense just as much as scum does so the entire premise of your argument is not relevant to me.-
