If it was up to me I'd say we eliminate around the 6th day and then every 18-24 hours from then on, but I don't own the thread and I can't force my theories on everyone else.

You can tell a LOT not just from posting but using that in conjunction with game/wagon dynamics, assessing the presence (or lack thereof) of baseline motivations, etc. to get alignment tells from lurkers. And fwiw I would argue that people have been read for WAY less in this game. I get that town!Isis and town!Marksman might think I have extra info on spicer's alignment - at first I thought it was superficial but the more I thought about it the more I think that the whiteknighting hypothesis is a plausible town process.

It's a good hedge because if the town swings one way or the other (towards going after high activity posters vs. low activity posters) scum is still likely to win

It's nice for coasters to get by the first few elims, then have some big townread figure that infiltrates to the end

Basically if we just have 2 innocent children and then we launch in some random order I feel like town wins a vast majority of the time. If scum infiltrates the innocent children or can manipulate the elim order to hit the wincon beforehand they win

i did some math for fun because I was curious. If we use the strategy above, we win about 86.6% assuming the elim order is random and the ICs are both town. Assuming scum has some influence in the elim order, we could model that by assuming they get two MEs for free so in that case we win 78.5% of the time. If scum is in the ICs we win 0% obviously. So a pessimistic estimate of our winrate is P(we choose two town ICs) * 78.5%. If we were to pick the ICs completely randomly we would have a 50-50 shot (10/14*9/13=49.5%), so under the random elim order we're 42.8% to win and under the not-so-random elim order we'd be 38.8% to win. Which actually feels not bad.

I'm not saying we should use this strategy because obviously people will object, adverse selection, etc. But it's a fun baseline to know

What I'm saying is limit your bloody votes to -say- 2 or 3 people that YOU SCUMREAD. Collectively there should always be only 2-3 competing wagons and NO ONE ELSE @ EVEN D-2. That way Scum cannot jump on a wagon causing a dunk that in turn takes out the next person because the dunk threshold has been lowered (this is a more serious problem when we are at an even number). I even explained to you before.

I obviously can't do the calculations because I don't know who scum are and -also- don't know ho they're voting right now, but -in theory- 3 bloody votes is enough if they can coordinate their timing to post in succession and have this game end right after the flip is posted by the mod.

HOWEVER, if hb flips red scum will only have 2 votes and it will become harder for them to do that. Yet again, it's matter of principle for me. Also with the rate the game is going not necessarily bad to be on a misdunk (I’ve been on every single dunk), lots of townies were pretty wrong, id agree more if we had fixed deadline dates

im dumb it can't be T3 voting Tx because T3 gets dunked first and their vote is gone, it would have to be another townie other than T3

But the point remains that the more votes there are, the more T vote T votes there are likely to be, and therefore the more likely there is to be some configuration of just a couple votes like above that maf can blitz.

So I implore people who are voting 2+ people rn to unvote someone and from now on just state their FoSes in bold as "ghost votes". And avoid voting AT ALL unless necessary like seriously trying to go for a dunk.

If others agree with this protocol I think we can make it essentially a scumclaim to vote 2 or more people.

im kind of busy but I would be willing to help out and least do something like have a secondary fake VC going on if you guys want to see like a "VC". I could be the only one doing it or others can can help out and update it periodically. That way we can still have multiple "votes" on people and continue as we have been before, just without unnecessary fear of all of this chaindunking. We could call it something else and go like

or something like that, GV for ghost vote so it's not misunderstood as an actual vote. Once we get x number of GVs those people will just go vote in reality and we'll dunk them ASAP.
