OPEN 220 - FRIENDS AND ENEMIES

Welcome to the first day of kindergarten. For many of you this is your very first day of school and you don't know anyone else here. A small group of you come from the preschool down the street and are already on your way to becoming great scholars and great friends. However, some of you are last session's troublemakers and bullies, doomed to repeat kindergarten once more. You are here to thwart everyone else's hopes of making friends and trying to fit in here at school while you are trying to finally escape the clutches of kindergarten yourselves.

In kindergarten it is important to get into the right circle of friends and make the right choices which will lead to success in life. Making the wrong choice now will doom your school life forever. Which choices will you all make and who will your friends be?

The bell rings and the teacher asks all the kindergartners to find their seats for attendance....

Roles:

After passing preschool, you find yourself and your preschool buddies, XXXXX and XXXXX, here on the first day of kindergarten. You've known them both for a while now, so you know they are good friends. You are here to lead a shining example to all the new students here. You may talk to each other during the night phases of the game at the following link: XXXXX.

You win when the town are the last players still attending class, whether you are still coming to class or not.

This whole kindergarten thing is new to you and you don't see any familiar faces. It's up to you to decide which other students are your real friends are and which ones are not.

You are back in kindergarten along with your previous classmates XXXXX and XXXXX. You didn't get past kindergarten the first time and no one else in this class should either. You may talk to each other during the night phases of the game at the following link: XXXXX. Each night one person from your group may PM me the name of a player to remove. If there is a disagreement within your group, the name with a majority submitted will be removed; in the event of a tie, the first PM received will be used.

You win when the mafia are the last players still attending class or when nothing can prevent the same, whether you are still coming to class or not.

Rules:

1. Have fun and don’t be a jerk. This is a game. Don’t do anything to deliberately make the game not enjoyable for others.

2. Players must vote in the format Vote: semioldguy. Votes in any other format will not be accepted. Abbreviations or nicknames will be counted as long as there can be no confusion as to who the vote is being placed upon.

3. Unvoting before changing your vote is not required, but appreciated.

4. As soon as a player has more than 50% of the total votes, the day ends immediately and that player is lynched. Unvoting before the moderator returns cannot undo the lynch.

5. When a lynch is reached, players may continue to talk during twilight until the thread is closed.

6. Deadlines for the day will be set at the beginning of each day. The same applies for night. They will always be posted in the OP.

7. Deadline extensions may be requested if a replacement is needed or to allow a replacement time to catch up. Extensions are at the moderator’s discretion to be approved or not.

8. If there is not a player with more than 50% of the vote at deadline, the day will end in NO LYNCH.

9. If you are dead, you may not post. A single “Bah” post is allowed but may not contain any game-relevant content.

10. Players must post at a minimum of once every 72 hours. Players who do not post for more than 72 hours will be prodded.

11. Players who do not post within 48 hours of their prod will be replaced. If a player is receiving an excessive amount of prods, they will be replaced.

12. Players are not allowed to edit posts.

13. You may not post/quote any communication you have with the moderator.

14. You may not talk to others about this game outside of this thread unless your role specifically allows it.

15. Do not post in codes, in tiny or invisible text, or in any language other than English.

16. Play to your win condition.

17. If you have a question about the rules, feel free to PM me or to post your question in the thread. If I make a mistake or if I miss something, please point it out so that it can be fixed.

18. Breaking these rules will result in consequences deemed necessary by the moderator.

Attendance has been called and it appears that

didn't make it to school. What most of his fellow students don't know it that he was met by some of the other students while walking to school and told that his class was still at the preschool. The preschool took smashbro_of_the_SSS back in and it looks like he won't be ready for kindergarten this year after all.

Everyone else seems to be in attendance for the first day of class. It's time to decide who your friends are and who doesn't belong in the in-crowd....
