However I just checked three of their completed town games (because you asked), in one of them Enchant didn't even have reads, in another the only person they ever voted (the repped in pretty late) was scum, and in the last one majority of people voted were scum.
So uh, I guess their reads are pretty good?

I do not have a serious scumread on Kitty. I think his posts were not very spectacular when I voted him, but it was a semi-RVS vote (or more like 75% RVS).

If I'm being fully honest, I also don't really know what I saw. I guess that maybe as an "RVS-read" I thought that Kitty was trying to avoid engagement and pocket NM? Not sure.

Also I've been recently trying to play differently because it just hurts to be right about who is scum and then let other people sway you into other wagons and then get nightkilled without ever limming the person you suspected as scum (like recently happened to me on Veiled Committee Mafia). So I figured if I try to be more aggressive or self confident or whatever, it might work better. So far the results are mixed.

SNYBED doesn't seem to be doing a very good job of actually being a block. In one post Snivy admonishes DragonEater for changing his vote to leave a wagon, and then later on changes his vote shortly after DragonEater goes back on it. I'd say there's possibly more than 1 scum in the block.

I think Dragon is the most rigid slot in the game. With the exception of this weird back and forth with snivy in the last couple of pages, all of their reads were established on page 1 and really haven’t changed.

And yeah, I didn't find the content in this game to be very wild so my reads had been rather stable, but I don't think it's correct to say I was rigid? I think I responded well to whatever developments did occur.

You didn't ask about Yess lol, but I don't get how they can say they are an expert at reading me. By my counts we have played two games together, I was scum in one and town the other(yess was the opposite alignment both times). And they were way less engaged when I was town(even though we shared a hood). If anything I should be the expert at reading him since I called him scum that game basically right off the bat(but I am not that arrogant lol).

As far as RC, the aforementioned scum game RC was my buddy. Like I said it is gut, but they seem less calculated here as in the scum game. It isn't a a solid read since I have had trouble correctly reading him in the past, but was just my first instinct to say they are town here. I also don't like when people pile on someone super early in a game, especially for a reason I didn't see.

Approaching this game in my head. I know that you know as scum I approached you both times as a mislim option. But also that you were keen on my scum play both times. So if I played like you were shining town from the jump and you were town you would be suspicious of it. Because I’d 100% flip the script as scum.

Also reading a bit through that game Aureal posted, I've lost my slight town read on Enchant. They're whole read on Kitty seems to be how Kitty opened this game, but Enchant replaced into scum in that other game that Kitty opened the same way as town. Plus at this point the emoji post restriction is just coming off more as trying to lay low than being a townie thing.

I think there could be scum between Snivy and Dragon. I can't parse out the back and forth between RC and Yes either, maybe Yes's conversations with people just confuse me. I think the biggest problem for me has been how much everyone has been talking about everyone elses meta in this game:

My whole day today while avoiding work has been spent finding Town and Scum games of people and trying to spot the difference in their ISOs and interactions. And I'll admit it hasn't gotten me very far yet, granted I've only read a few games so far.

IDK if it's town though because I did the same thing as scum before, but then it was a deliberate attempt to copy my town meta which is known for ISO diving (I think at least) and meta diving (maybe? To be honest I don't think this post adds much. He corrects this post himself after re-reading Dragon. I have found Dragon to be rather fickle so far, but no one in this game seems to have any solid reads either. This was another statement I skimmed because he mentions that Dragon talks in a very surehanded way, but then others were talking earlier about how Dragon seems different this game and Dragon himself says he's trying to play different and be more confident. This became another post where I decided, "Ok, I guess I need to go read some people".

If anything after this post and doing some ISO reading I decided I didn't at least think RC was scum. Null at best. I also felt the wagon wasn't going anywhere, wasn't going to give any useful info on anyone else. No, after I said that......like literally right after the post of mine you quoted.....Aisa said she had some issues with Aureal.

I wouldn't necessarily say "I don't read him as scum" as much as "I don't know how to read him". His first post seems to just be RVS junk back and forth with Aureal. I was sort of confused by the whole "Aureal slamming the policy vote seemed townie" angle he used later since I just read that post from Aureal as an opening RVS post. Like I said she seems to live in his head. What is it specifically about him that you read as scum?

Most of his posts on me I took with a grain of salt after my vote on him because I used a stupid angle to place my vote. I call it a counter wagon at your behest because I was saying I didn't want to join the kitty wagon and you offered voting RC if I went there. So I found a reason to make a post along with my vote. My scumread on RCE is based on the fact that for most of yesterday I felt like his posts had an insincere tone to them, showed no real intent to solve, and were overall scummy. Also he refused to give reads and a lot of the reads he did give were fake.

Not in particular. Celeb is probably the worst vote on me yet.

Aureal has only seen me as scum so the RVs vote was fine with me. If drew voted for the same reason I wouldn’t mind. I think I rolled something like 3-4 straight scum games before I took a sore break and then like 4 more when I came back and they have been a part of a few of those recent games.

So paranoia is warranted from those slots specifically. Enchant might even fit in there a bit.

Gth the only reads I have right now are aureal prob town enchant prob town.

My subconscious reaction to being pushed is always going to be “that’s scummy” but town can have wrong pushes so I’m still deciding if it’s coming from scum or wrong town.

I think snivy is an awkward kind of player in the sense that I don’t tend to see them follow logical processes and that’s a tough playstyle for me to get my head around. Similar to enchant. Just their style of play makes for awakward interactions so I didn’t take a ton away from it.

I’ll say like, I played with them as town in datisis university and mislimmed them, and against them as scum in…..I forgot the name of it, but set them up for mislim, so.

I go by he/he btw.

I think Dragon is the most rigid slot in the game. With the exception of this weird back and forth with snivy in the last couple of pages, all of their reads were established on page 1 and really haven’t changed.

Independent of their insistence that I’m scum I find that scummy. Also their language even in the early game comes off wrong. The very surehanded statements come off as playing with more knowledge than the rest of us have.

Also I don’t remember exactly but there was something ironic about them shading celeb about behavior they themselves had done earlier in the game just because other slots were bringing it up against celeb. I’ll look at the iso again gimme a sec.

As I said, here his scumread on me feels extremely fake, like he's opened my iso, did a halfhearted skim of it to see if he could find anything to shade, and then threw together a scumread without even analyzing.

Also, I just feel like a lot of his content reads like he's actively lurking, which is to say that he just posts things to avoid looking like he's lurking, but without actually engaging and giving real thoughts, and without committing to anything. Notice he made a scumread on me but never pushed it, for example.
