The first round of confirmations required

people to confirm to move onto the next phase. Presumably, that happened. The mod sent out our initial role pms - 'Town', 'Mafia', or 'Traitor'. Once the mafia were finished deliberating on their powers, the game moved to the next stage of confirmation. This stage required

people to confirm. During this confirmation stage, the timer for the first stage ran out, signaling that the

person who had not confirmed needed to be replaced. However,

people needed to be replaced at this time. This means that between pisskop and Hero at Heart, one of the two slots

initially confirmed

upon seeing their alignment, but upon receiving their updated role, they decided to replace out.

...So what does this mean? Well, maybe they rolled vanilla town and didn't like it. Maybe they rolled mafia traitor and didn't get recruited and didn't like that. Maybe this is all just a coincidence and something happened in between confirmation stages that made them need to replace out.

I have been fond of this setup (stack the deck) for a long time now, despite it's flaws. For powers, I would go for either no powers to limit what town gets, which has always been my favored strategy in this setup, or I would grab the Bulletproof Godfather, as I believe that role has the ability to swing the game in mafia's favor on its own.

I feel like pisskop didn't even fight back against the main point Dannflor brought up about him, which was that he's not really trying to determine people's alignments. Even in his push against me here it feels more like he's trying to shade me for voting him instead of "I don't know Black's alignment but I would like to find out what it is"

Can you make it more clear what pisskop did not respond to. I see they responded to Dannflor.

Like what is this? Why do you need more when it comes to shadow, but you were willing to fade SS based on a weak feeling/lack of a better read and you are currently willing to fade Titus because she called Roden frozen and hasn't been around much?

I'm back, not fully caught up yet but going to start here.

First off if anyone is expecting a ton of content from me, don't. It's not how I play - I'm mostly reactive, observe based on interactions, poke where I feel I need to, and then express my conclusions when and where I feel like they make sense to do so, which is usually with my vote.

I'm not going to spend my time responding to all of 506, but I will address a few of the glaring holes. Feel free to ask questions about any specific things I don't address:

436 I talked about last night but I think his posturing around Alisae is slimy and then the Titus stance feels very convenient considering she got two votes right before this post

This is setting me up for a lose/lose. If I didn't say anything but TItus ended up limmed and is town, I'd be framed for sticking on a wagon with my RVS vote and no reason.

449 is a misinterpretation of what Gob said but it reads as being self-conscious about being voted for

Based on the misinterpretation of Gob's post I would have asked it if he was still voting anybody else, it just happened to be me. Stating a SR on someone but sitting on somebody else they haven't addressed in a while is something I'll point out pretty much anytime I see it.

They made arguments about what they think mafia would do but then later clarified that some of their thoughts are based on playing a different type of mafia. Seems believable to me. Aside from that I just like their posts.

It's more than just knowing their alignments. It is looking at the interactions between the two and considering the implications.

Crescent is used to playing in faster paced games, making a post like that which shows consideration without drawing much attention to itself is unlikely to be brought up again as the thread swallows it up, so it would be a bit of a departure from how they are used to playing.
