Well I will say that when the Chicky meet happens, that will be over a year from when I "preordered", so yeah, that would pretty much be my threshold for when I want them by.

Like, I don't know if the cards could've been given to the printing company while preorders were being taken? Or if the printers are so strict as to not test print until they get a definite number of preorders?

I guess you don't necessarily get custom decks of cards printed everyday so it's a learning process.
