Eh - it's an awful role idea not because it's underpowered but because it's overpowered. You get a two-for-one cop investigation. You can catch a whole scum team this way.

It would be lol-worthy in a bastard setup though. Put in a mason team. Don't give mafia night-talk. Let hilarity ensue.
