The spy worked like this - pro town role, kills a player IF THEY TAKE A NIGHT ACTION.

Vig that doesn't kill vanillas..

What's wrong with that? (It seems "meh" to me.)

Minesweeper mafia

I was thinking about this idea for a while and was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate mineweeper into mafia.
For exaomple a minesweeper grid with player's names could be used and each lynch would be like clicking that square in the grid and the numbers that would come up would indicate the number of adjacent mafioso

would this work?

It either turns into a puzzle game (Not Mafia) or its pointless.

Define "warring factions". (The answers probably, tried it and it failled awfully.)

That idea is more an informed minority vs an informed minority vs another informed minority, and it really pulls some of the dynamics out of mafia. It's more of a mish-mash game. The closest you'll ever get to "warring factions" is a multiball setup or a setup with a scum team + 3rd party.

Actually, after checking the wiki that "multiball" sounds more like what I am working on. Still a town majority, but different scum parties. Where are the multibal games played? Is that MishMash also?

Multiball is played everywhere but in newbies.

3:10 is hideously scum favoured. Your set up is even worse.

In 2002.

I mean that they're planning to run now. I'm actually reading the 2002 one now, that's what gave me the idea.

Nexus: I'm at a co0mplete loss over how you design the set up for something like that but I'd probably be /in to play.

For the specific situation, note that I am referring to Zajnet's Golden Sun Mafia - abandoned before Role PM's were even sent out during confirmation.

You don't need to request permission.

We call that type of set-up Smalltown.
