I disagree with this. This can often be a good strategy if used correctly.

1) lurkers, active or otherwise(especially people who lurk, then come in and say "anyone have any questions for me?" Yes, I have one. Why aren't you playing the game?)

2) claiming for no reason

3) claiming scum(if someone does this, even as a joke, I will vote them and not let up no matter what)

4) people who claim you're OMGUSing them even when you have a good reason to vote for them and they happen to be voting you

5) replacing out because you're under pressure. this

only hurts you

If this is done postgame, it can be very good, as long as it's constructive criticism or intended to help the mod in the long run.

I disagree. A little bit of flavor knowledge should lead to a

better

fakeclaim. However, they should be given something to help them on their way to a claim that's not going to be immediately shot down by someone with flavor knowledge.

Flavor knowledge should, however, be able to produce a more effective fakeclaim.

I disagree. On extremely rare occsaions, something completely unforseen occurs and the moderator has to make a judgment call that he or she had not considered. I think that any in-game changes should be very carefully discussed with other site members (and with players, if necessary), and used only when an otherwise unresolvable situation presents itself, but I do think that it is an acceptable clause.

This was the exact reason for the clause. Not to throw in rules willy-nilly(unless you're running something like Mind Screw), but if something extremely unexpected comes up.
